Whoever made that list is a moron. There r many worse songs out there. And putting the three mentioned above, especially "The End", qualifies them for assassination.

On the surface, it does sound like a contradiction if someone were to make assumptions. But if they actually listen to the song, it's telling a story about a girl he met. Sure, it's not the political statements the PE made, it may not be socially important, but there's more to it than a list of stuff a guy bought, how many women he's been with and who he's going to shoot, which was what I was eluding to in my generalization about the majority of air play these days.

If you get a chance to listen to the song, let me know if you get what I'm talking about.

I'm not suggesting Mos Def has earned the stature of Edgar Allen Poe, but if you saw a poem called "The Raven" and assumed that birds are silly, you'd be missing out on something rather enjoyable.
