What an absolutely horrible list. There's some absolute garbage they've omitted, such as Fever by Kylie Minogue (I was in a bakery yesterday, that came on the radio, and I wanted to kill myself). I rather expected Miami by U2 to be on the list and I really think it should be. "Miami, my mammy." Most embarrassing U2 moment ever.

I personally was quite disappointed to see that Britney, Christina, Nelly, 50 Cent and other grossly overrated artists were passed over.

LOL! Most of her current album is rubbish. And please whoever makes the next 50 Worst Songs list put that waste of airplay by that swearing bloke Eamon at number 1?

PS: I hope your flatulence isn't too nasty, Nadroj!

Most current "pop" is garbage, most good music you will not hear on the radio.
agreed. although there is a great independent station where I live that plays some good stuff. they still have some pop artists...Dave Matthews for istance. But they also plays lots of great stuff, some of which I've heard of.

^_^ LOL!!^_^ I;ve got to get a hold of that somg just to hear that lyric! Thanks for alerting me to it's existence Axver.

There were plenty of those novelty records that were passed over too I see, ie. Mr Blobby, Bob the Builder, Agadoo, although their are probably best known this side of the Atlantic.

How 'bout "Brim full of Ahsa on the 45" "Around the Word (La la lah lah la)"?

and my personal worst:

"Don't Speak" by No Doubt.

In fact, add to that any Hip Hop or Rap song that even mentions "rims". I long for the days when Rappers had something to say other than "I drop the top down just to shout to ho's".

One day, Chuck D is going to come back and he's gonna be slapping everybody around.

Definately. I really liked Public Enemy. Nowadays, I think the Jurassic 5 and the Roots are about the best for actual talent.

Not just some guys who threw on a ton of ice and wrote about it.

I'm not gonna hate on you for liking it or anything, I realize that my opinion on that song is the head scratcher, I just can't stand it for some reason.

Yeah, that's cool. It's all opinion. I have songs like that too, that I hate but everybody else loves.

Decent list, but whoever put the Doors on there should be dragged out into the street and shot.

Gotta give that one an AMEN.

Back in the day, I always said that if I was on a desert island and could only bring one CD, it'd be Midnight Marauders.
