if you have unanswered questions it's not because the answers aren't out there, but that you are either avoiding them or just don't like them. do you like the answers that mccain became a philandering party boy when he came home and then left his disabled wife, turning misfortune into enormous fortune, marrying the beer heiress that he referred to as the "c" word? pretty picture, don't you think?

He wasn't just a War Veteran, but a decorated War Veteran who declined to be released early from being a tortured POW in a North Vietnamese prison. He's been tested and didn't sell out the Country under the test. obama hasn't even done anything close to even the boy scouts, but he has made a lot of Radical friends, Ayers, Odinga, Reverend Wright, and people who hate America and would love to see its demise. I wouldn't expect you to understand unless you were American though.

I'm a decorated war veteran. Does that mean I have an accomplishment that makes me qualified to be President?

I never said that was the only qualification. It is great that he has been tested though.

No, you said it was his accomplishment. And sorry, not taking advantage of the fact that his father was an admiral to get released as a POW is not an accomplishment. You can claim it shows character but it is not an accomplishment.

So perhaps now that I've shown that military experience does not typically count as an accomplishment that qualifies one for the presidency, you can tell us what actual accomplishments McCain has.

And just to clarify, the reason I say that it "typically" does not count as an accomplishment, there are people like Eisenhower whose political decision making and executive experience being chief executive of all Allied Armies during WWII was an accomplishment that would count. McCain, as a fighter pilot, did not have that type of experience.

Actually, I don't like either candidate but McCain is my choice of the two.

Try reading what the article said, it has a link to a CNN interview but the article is not by CNN.
