And it wasn't disproved. You can't prove or disprove a theory. Because you don't KNOW if every part is true. So you just believe it was disproved in your opinion.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What about the flood? YEC's typically assert that there was a global flood a mere 4000 years ago (barely a blip on the geological time scale). Yet, there is little to no credible evidence that such a flood occured.

Defender: Some theories you can. YEC, for instance, requires a couple of things.
But, we can easily falsify their projected age of the Earth. (10,000 years maximum).
They're off by a long amount, according to radiometric dating.
We build electronics, nuclear reactors and nuclear bombs off the physics that makes radiometric dating possible. To be off by that much would require our understanding of quantum mechanics and nuclear processes to be so wrong as to preclude cutting-edge electronics from working, as well as nuclear reactors and nuclear bombs.
