1. At what point in the relationship did you learn of your SO's favorite Bible verse, person, parable, and/or passage?

About 5 years into our relationship (we knew each other for almost 10 years before we got married). We wern't engaged yet.


2. Were either one of you not regularly attending church because of any reason, before marriage?

I wasn't (away in college, not a really spiritual time in my life). My girlfriend attended church, but was "shopping around" for denominations other than Catholic, in which she was raised.


3. Did you undergo marriage counseling after engagement?

Yes, by our pastor (we started going to church together shortly after we started dating).


4. Had either one of you been married before?

No

1) After marriage...when I found out my hubby's password for something was a Bible verse, hehe. (he gave it to me, I didnt just guess it!)

2) I regularly attended, he did not however it wasnt because he wasnt saved - just differing views concerning church.

3) Yes, we did do marriage counseling. I wanted to; he didnt. Then once we started, he loved it; I didnt. haha.

4) No, we've not been married before.

Maybe my wife has told me this before. I don't remember and we've been married 13 years. I suspect the answer to this question changes on a daily or weekly basis. It probably does for me.

I don't really have one favorite Bible passage. Favorite person? You have to say the Lord for that one.

I don't have a favorite color. I don't think my wife does either. As far as my favorite color goes, it depends on what it is. I like my salad green, but I don't like it if my face is green.

No, we both went to church a lot before we met, while dating, and after marriage.

3. Did you undergo marriage counseling after engagement?

Yes, the pastor who married us offered it.

4. Had either one of you been married before?

No.

Neither of us were attending church before marriage, other than sporadically.

No.

We have both been married before.

2) For many months we both only attended sporadically, as we both worked in full time ministry and the church that it was easiest to go to wasn't that great for us (for example, we'd been going there for six months when the pastor asked if we were new), so we found it hard to build up the motivation to go. A few months after getting married, we found a church that we love.

Never. He was raised Christian but considers himself an Agnostic, religion isn't a big part of his life.

Neither of us were really going to church around that time as I recall.

Nope.

1) I think it was about 6 months - the night we walked around a lake and decided we were "it" for each other. 2) I was attending church, my husband was not as he did (and still does) frequently work Sundays. 3) No. We got married right before Christmas and never was able to schedule time. 4) Yes. Hubby was.
