I wrote this song today in math class. It is about a girl I used to like. She was non-christian and was just "flirting" with me. I found this out when I asked her out. That happened last year. I wrote it today because I ran into her.
Enjoy.
I once thought You liked me
I once thought you and I would be we
I once thought you were the key
I was once willing to bow down on my knees
I once thought you were that girl
Your buaety sparkled like a pearl
You once made my head twirl
For you my life I would hurl
I once thought You liked me
I once thought you and I would be we
I once thought you were the key
I was once willing to bow down on my knees
I wanted to marry you
I trusted only a select few
I was gonna ask you out on my cue
But then I knelt down by a pew
I once thought You liked me
I once thought you and I would be we
I once thought you were the key
I was once willing to bow down on my knees
I knew I had been blind
How could you be so unkind
I find myself in a bind
I had been ignoring my mind
I once thought You liked me
I once thought you and I would be we
I once thought you were the key
I was once willing to bow down on my knees
Enjoy.
