You're the one who claimed Musk sold OpenAI to Gates. This is factually incorrect. If you didn't mean this, you shouldn't have written that or should have corrected yourself. Musk left OpenAI before this, tried to buy it but was refuted and later on Gates bought his share. Which left Musk pretty [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]ed as he'd wanted OpenAI for Tesla.

I invest in people, NOT company's. In the beginning Amazon sold one million dollars worth of stock that is now worth 100 billion dollars. At the time the professionals were saying Amazon is high risk and you should avoid investing your money in this sort of technology. My original password on amazon was amazing. If you want to make money you have to go where the money is.
I saw that Bill Gates was going to develop a new search engine to replace internet explorer and I decided to buy Microsoft stock. I made $1000 off of that investment. Although I just had to pay taxers on my capital gains so the Feds have their hand in taking some of that money.

My employer considers 32 hours a full-time, benefitted position, and I have to tell you, it’s awesome. Basically, 32 hours is full time, anything over 40 is overtime. We universally love it because it allows for people to go to school/college, people to have appointments or other single day commitments, people to go to kids events for school, whatever, and we can do so without taking time off and burning a vacation day. It also allows flexibility to make up the hours elsewhere if we so choose.
For me personally, I have a disability that means I get infusions every 4 weeks and I can have the day off to do it without having to take a vacation day or get disability accommodations. We have several people in the same boat, including a woman with cancer, and the ability to squeeze in her treatments around work without taking vacation days but still maintaining her status as full time to get insurance has been life changing for her. We also have a ton of college students who are self-sustaining and carry their own insurance.
Our employee retention rate is high. My department’s 5 year retention is 85%, and the line of people who want to work for us is loooooooooong.
The other added bonus is that we aren’t all clock watchers, calculating how close to 40 hours we are, and rushing to clock out when we get close. Our overtime costs are literally almost nothing.
I will say, though, we are paid a livable wage where we earn in 32 hours what is typically paid in 40. However, with high retention and tremendous employee loyalty, we save money in employment costs in the long run.

Right now, today I am using Co Pilot and Chrome. I do have a windows computer because I got a good deal on it. Google and Microsoft pretty much look alike now a days. I am not sure what gets saved to what. It is different than DOS and i have not had to use that in a while. My son is a computer programmer (PI). Yet I was the one that told him about ChatGPT. I use that a lot.
