Ok. That’s not Christianity but…ok.

“Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” 1 Tom 2:19

Sorry, what bible book is represented by "1 Tom?" I thought at first it was a typo for "1 Tim(othy)" but 1 Tim 2 only has 15 verses. Edited to say: I think you might have meant 2 Timothy 2:19:

“Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."” (2Ti 2:19 NKJV)

They will do that, in context the iniquity is false teaching. False teaching is iniquity God despises, but yet the believer, as Paul sins everyday Rom 7, and with the flesh serves the law of sin, but sin isn't charged to them. 2 Cor 5:19

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

No one Christ died for will ever be charged with sin, though they will sin in the flesh all the days of their life

That is so contrived-and anti-gospel.

The things you are saying is
alright... so let's shake the dust off then. We both believe we won't be held accountable for sin; I believe that the gospel gives us a new start in life, now joined with God resulting in the overcovering of sin finally made possible, while your gospel is one where remaining in sin/evil, and calling it good nonetheless, is fine and apparently the order of the day, Since no one from Christ through the early churches and the ECFs would recognize your gospel, my ears are necessarily closed to it -and yours are obviously closed to mine.

Those whom Christ died for dont have sin charged to their account, thats Gospel Truth you obviously dont accept 2 Cor 5:19

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

The word imputing logizomai:

to reckon, count, compute, calculate, count over

  1. to take into account, to make an account of

John Gill writes;

Another commentator:

May God grant you repentance to believe the Gospel !

Thank you. And may God grant you a continuously open mind to His Word. And if you're interested at all in the history of this matter you can find a fair start here at post #669: SALVATION
