I thought it was brilliant and that Reeses is the kind of guy who can appreciate the irony and creativity... Or else I'm completely wrong and Wayholka is going to get an internet punch in the nose...

Ok, here's my list. I got to 45 and had to trim it down a lot.
  1. I'm a Self taught graphic artist. I started with photo impression, moved to Photoshop when I was pregnant with my child then learned video editing for her first birthday. Currently learning illustrator.
  2. I am a frustrated writer. I started writing since I was 11. Writing just used to be a hobby, a dream, a passion, but now it's my therapy. It's my way of coping with all the things that I'm going through
  3. I have had 3 courses- 2 years for computer science,2 years for accounting and a 2 month crash course in baking. I plan on taking a 4th course, probably for caregiving or commercial cookery.
  4. POTTERHEAD. Loves everything related to HP. Enough said.
  5. I am a hopeless romantic. HOPELESS.
  6. I'm a couch potato and a bookworm. My days are basically in front of the TV/PC watching TV series or movies for hours. I grew up surrounded by books.
  7. I like pandas, cats, puppies. Wish we had a pet
  8. I'm a foodie. I love eating Pinoy street food (coz its cheap) but I would love try out anything. I love different sorts of cuisine, Japanese and Italian being my top two.
  9. I like making jewelry. My fave would be dream catchers necklaces and bracelets.
  10. I love fashion. Used to watch ANTM everyday when I was pregnant. So my daughter is quite the fashionista now. In college I used to prepare 7 outfits for the week, usually color coded with matching shoes, bags and accessories.
  11. I have been cutting and coloring my hair by myself for the past 5-7 years??? I don't remember the last time I went to the salon. Ok maybe once in 2015 for graduation. But most of the time it's just me with the scissors snip snip snipping away (I really regret my hairstyle right now. .. Haha) I someday wish to have galaxy hair.
  12. I love to sing. Music used to be my life. I'm a soprano. I used to be part of the music ministry, used to join singing contests and I used to play the piano.
  13. I loved pon and zi. I don't think I've outgrown my emo phase- people say I still wear too much eyeliner (even when I don't)
  14. I have memory problems and have to constantly jot everything down. I cannot take verbal instructions without forgetting what the person said a second after they stop talking. I struggle with memorizing numbers and names and even faces of people.
  15. I have a long list of things that I wish I would learn: dancing biking driving and swimming would be on the top of the list. I cannot dance. I am so clumsy and awkward and have 2 left feet.
  16. I love all things Disney: I like imitating disney voices, I collect Disney movies, dresses and books for my daughter. My short term goal is to celebrate my daughter's birthday in Disneyland. I have watched Disney movies so many times I could recite all the dialogues and songs and reenact them.
  17. I have 5 laptops, (Acer, asus, toshiba, dell and samsung) 4 of which were given as a gift (Coz they were either old/ or had defective parts) and 1 of which is new.
  18. I once destroyed my brother's PS2 after he [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]ed me off. Basically I removed the lens (size of a bead) that’s supposed to read the disc.
  19. My greatest fear is to be left alone. To lose everything and everyone I love
  20. I have been trying to figure out how to solve all 6 sides of the Rubix cube since high school
  21. I cannot take a telephone call/ video call without feeling so overly shy or stuttering or losing my train of thought. I just CANNOT talk to people over the phone.
  22. To get over a breakup, I do a marathon of all the episodes of HIMYM. I love all the characters on that show. I love Barney the most (too bad Neil Patrick Harris is gay)
  23. Fave colors are Black Blue and White. I want someone to give me a blue rose someday.
  24. I sometimes wish the apocalypse would come about so everyone would be on an equal footing.
  25. Also, I destroyed 3 HDD's, 1 phone, 3 16gb memory cards in the span of a year. DON'T ASK HOW.
:congrat:

OK, here goes... At first, I was not going to get involved on this thread. Then, when I decided to, I thought it would be tough to come up with 25 things. So, I looked at what others wrote and used some of their ideas. Then, ended upwith a lot more than 25 and had to cut down :).

Here is some stuff about me ( should anyone care )

1 Love the Lord, am a member of a Baptist church and I try to attend Sunday school and serve and study as much as I can to be closer to him. I am a sinner and fall short of God's glory ( Rom 3:23 ) but, try not to sin and try to sin less as I grow my faith.
2 never smoked or did drugs, etc or ever had the desire to. no tatoos ( these are real turn offs for me )
3 love snowboarding and have been hurt a few times and keep at it anyway. Just love it
4 love road trips and have been all over including 47 states so far
5 colors, I guess you can say I like them all depending on application. I even like pink- on girls. Blues, yellows, greens, aquas seem to get my attention. Not into the trendy black thing. Favorite neutral is different shades of grey.
6 love collecting old stuff including bicycles from the 60s and 70s. In my collection is a 1969 Schwinn "Applekrate" 5 speed Stingray. found it at a swap meet. (This is where my name comes from)
7 really like and appreciate those who can build model kits ( cars, planes, ships ). Have a collection of them but, prefer working on the real thing. Also like and appreciate trade skills like welding, fab work, painting, engine building, etc ( I do it as a hobby)
8 enjoy performance boating/speed boats. Lots of fun. Like wake boarding too when I have people to do it with.
9 enjoy collecting, racing, restoring & driving older cars
10 am left handed but, play drums and guitar right handed. Throw and catch left handed
11 have 2 dogs, both are black lab mixes/mutts. Have trained them and they are very disciplined/obedient compared to others I see. (Cooper and Molly ) Do not like dogs that are not behaived.
12 love the rural/county life. After growing up and living in and enjoying the suburbs, have made the transition to rural life and will not go back. Love the elbow room and freedoms of living away from highly populated areas.
13 Have been in love, close to marriage and heart broken a few times. Am over it now and consider it a good learning experience. Not bitter but, am definitely wiser.
14 I can be a leader or a follower. If I am a leader, I will take charge and do it. If called to be a follower/helper, can do that to but, need to know exactly what needs to be done.
15 Have a drum set but, have not used it in sometime. Looking forward to playing it again.
16 raised Catholic but, have since been baptized through immersion and belong to a Baptist church
17 My fastest race car to date has run the quarter in 6.77 seconds at 200mph. My goal is to run consistent 5 second times in the 240-250 range. It is hard but, I like the challenge. It sits now for a time as it is very expensive to operate. the fastest I have driven on the street is 150 but, only once and very rarely drive anywhere near that fast on the street anymore. It's more fun at the track or on the water to go fast and safer/saner too. The risks driving fast on the hiways is not worth it. Jail does not appeal to me.
18 I organize and run a few drag races and car shows each year. Have done some church cars shows too for the Lord.
19 would love to marry and have a family and home school but, do not see it happening and hoping I am wrong.
20 enjoy reading, esp history or things I can learn from. Once into a good book, it is hard to put down. Currently readying a book on Guadalcanal.
21 Was brought up with a loving Mom and Dad in a good family with good morals. Have never been in trouble with the law.
22 used to like the desert heat of southern Arizona, now I really do not like it and avoid it as best I can ( except when I can be at the lake or river )
23 not really shy or timid as I could sometimes be when growing up. Have a realistic confidence in myself.
24 One of my big goals in life now is a car museum. Am working on it and bought the building earlier this year.
25 have never drank coffee. Do not like the smell. Do like italian and mexican food. Like fast food- Subway, Taco Bell, KFC. of course enjoy a good burger and pizza too. Like Pepsi, Mtn Dew, Dr Pepper but, have been cutting down a bunch. trying to get into sparkling water with lemon lime flaver because "it's better for me" as they say.
Ok, sorry it was so long. So long! :)

1. I am able to bend my thumbs at a 90 degree angle and thereby effectively perform the 'floating/severed thumb trick'
2. Apparently I can outplay anyone when it comes to badminton. Even to the point of dehydration, heat stroke, sun burn & exhaustion [which has happened]. I love the game that much. :')
3. Pastel pink and spring green are my favorite colors
4. I like modern style houses- I especially love minimalism designs- the typical black and white + green plants layout.
5. I love gardening
6. I am part of the worship team at my Church [singer]
7. I had surgery done when I was very little for health reasons
8. I can crochet & knit [winter hats, scarves, blankets]
9. I love watching movies over and over again. I just borrowed TMNT & The Giver for the umteenth time.
10. I like watching documentaries and reading biographies and how people overcame their struggles.
11. I have traveled to the Philippines before- the farthest from Canada I've been.
12. I love the idea of being a car mechanic and fixing/maintaining my own future car
13. I am an RPN
14. My hair is black but the shade/tint(?) is blue as opposed to dark brown.
15. I can speak a little German, Japanese, French, and a whole lot of Tagalog [common language in the Philippines]
16. I've never owned a dog or cat yet, though I am partial to dogs. I've owned rabbits, birds & fish.
17. I've once pet a wild squirrel before in my backyard. Was an AMAZING surreal experience. It was so friendly ; o ;
18. I have visited a butterfly conservatory in which you walk around this indoor place with lots of tropical plants and beautiful variety of butterflies that often perch on you.
19. The most 'thrilling' thing I've done is scuba dive + kayak in the open ocean with super HUGE waves that can make most people seasick xD. Oh and rollercoasters. I used to be a rollercoaster addict.
20. I like to help others with their problems instead of voicing out my own. But that's just me. It also encourages me in turn when I help others so it's kind of a win-win.
21. I have always wanted to skateboard [not for tricks but just to get from place to place] but for some reason, am terrified of getting on one. I have before-on my brothers'. Perhaps I'll try again sometime.
22. I can draw you in realism- just send me a high-def quality photo of you.
23. My favorite anime/manga are: The Royal Tutor, Chihayafuru, and ReLife.
24. I am super picky about what I watch and listen to [music-wise]. I mostly watch movies rated for 'everyone'. Aka mostly kids movies.
25. I hope to publish a book someday, God-willing.

3. I've learned bits and pieces of various foreign languages, yet don't speak any of them fluently.

10. I have one very funny pet.

12. Laughing gas doesn't make me laugh.

14. I adopt other people's accents intentionally and unintentionally.

20. I'm curious.

21. I love good deals.

23. I've always wondered at people who possess the ability to make themselves cry.

24. I picked off mushrooms as a kid, and now I like them.

25. Mentally I sighed and rolled my eyes when I first got a look at Pinterest, but now I use it all the time.

Haha, I was impressed because all of these things are true for me as well. Now you know nine things about me in addition to my forthcoming 25.

1. To add some color to my life, I began tracking and occasionally celebrating obscure holidays. For anyone who needs a little color in their life, today is National Apple Turnover Day, National Graham Cracker Day, and National Bikini Day.

2. I tend to be a bit wordy with my posts. This is most evidenced by my liberal use of parenthetical footnotes.

3. I intend to be a lifelong learner.

4. I am often looking for ways to make an extra buck and have tried out multiple different ways of going about this. Day-trading penny stocks, fantasy sports, couponing, second jobs, etc.

5. In relation to #4, I have dabbled a bit in "extreme couponing." Where I differ in practice from true extreme couponers is that I don't buy and maintain huge stashes of things when they are on sale because I don't have room for it in my house. Usually I just go for the items that I can actually make money off of purchasing.

6. I always pick up change that I find on the ground.

7. If I could make every major life decision using an Excel spreadsheet, I would.

8. This may or may not be something to brag about, but I am very, very good at fantasy football mostly because I do my due diligence in terms of research. Two years ago I joined a buy-in league ($25 buy-in) last year, started out the season 1-7, and then made a spreadsheet (told you so!) to figure out where I was going wrong. After making an adjustment or two, I won my final 5 games to finish 6-7 and just sneak into the playoffs, and then won the next three weeks to take the championship. I won $90 I believe. Then this past year I finished runner up and also had the best regular season record (by far) at 11-2, so I won $110. You can't beat that return on investment ;)

9. I am currently working pretty hard to pay off debt, and when I am debt-free I have already decided I am going to buy a Ford Mustang convertible (or some other similar, reasonably affordable sports car), and take a road trip to Banff, Alberta, Canada.

10. I love to budget, but am not always very good at sticking to it.

11. I dated a girl from Toronto for awhile and have spent a decent amount of time up there, so I have more knowledge of and appreciation for Canada than the typical American.

12. When I was a kid I was obsessed with birds. I think my grandmother got me interested in them. I owned multiple field guides, binoculars, etc. I would get so pumped when I saw a new bird. The interest faded through my teenage years as that wasn't really a "cool" hobby to have, but I've never entirely lost interest. Even now, I could still tell you what most birds are just by the way they fly.

13. I'm not a fan of horror flicks, but outside of that genre it doesn't take a lot to entertain me when it comes to movies.

14. I buy probably 10 books for every one that I read.

15. I have played piano since I was pretty young, bass guitar since high school, and acoustic guitar since my freshman year of college.

16. When I was 11 I broke both of my arms after going airborne on a bicycle and flipping over the handlebars. I was in long-arm casts for 6 weeks and had to be showered and fed. Then the following winter I ripped my leg open in a freak accident and had to get 18 stitches.

17. I was starting right tackle on my varsity football team my junior year, and starting guard my senior year.

18. The coolest things I have ever done are 1) go whale-watching off the Atlantic Coast, and 2) see the Eiffel Tower light up during a boat ride along the Seine River.

19. I have a bachelor's degree in intercultural studies and an associate's degree in accounting.

20. I consider myself a Lebron James fan and have seen him play at least four times. I've seen the Packers beat the Patriots at Lambeau Field, have been to the baseball stadiums in Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Detroit, Baltimore, and Toronto, and have been to an NBA Eastern Conference Finals game.

21. Another goal of mine once I am out of debt is to find a new job and move.

22. The most major item on my bucket list is to see a game in every Major League baseball stadium.

23. I love to drive and road trip.

24. I grew up Nazarene, was dedicated in a Nazarene church and was a member for a time. I also attended Lutheran schools for pre-k and 7th & 8th grades, went through Lutheran confirmation class in 8th grade but didn't get confirmed, and attended Evangelical Free, Christian & Missionary Alliance, and independent churches during college. The C & MA church was a church plant as well. After college I attended a United Methodist church for awhile before finally settling into a Presbyterian (PCA) church. I wouldn't necessarily call myself a Presbyterian though. Also, I was an Armininan until my junior year of college when I slowly began the transition into becoming a Calvinist and complementarian, which is what I am now.

25. I am continually seeking to be as nuanced as I can as I develop views on things. I want to be able to understand issues from both sides and be as intellectually honest as I can.

What was it that prompted that exploration in to Calvinism? Most people that consider themselves one or the other(at least those that are aware of the terms and care about them) seldom wander to the other side of the fence, so it must have been something quite profound.

Do you own any of Calvin's commentaries? I'm sure I've asked before, but I forgot :D

Do you own any of Calvin's commentaries? I'm sure I've asked before, but I forgot :D

Basically my roommate at the time was being discipled by someone who was teaching him about the Five Points, and he brought it up in a Bible study planning meeting (he and I co-led a Bible study with two girls). He was a little off in his reasoning for bringing it up in that he felt it would negatively impact the study if we didn't all agree on the topic, but his bringing it up more or less led to a long discussion about Calvinism itself, and it led me to further study. It was recommended that I listen to a five-part sermon series by a pastor out in New Jersey, and so I did that and found myself intellectually agreeing with what he was saying despite not entirely agreeing with it in my heart. Then several months later I revisited it, listened through the sermon series again, and found myself much more firmly in agreement with it on all levels.

I don't really own any commentary sets outright. It'll probably be a long time before I do, but then again I don't really feel called to pastoral ministry, at least right now. I do have Matthew Henry's commentary but that's pretty condensed since it's just one book. I do appreciate commentaries, though, as I had to write a few exegetical papers in college, so I wouldn't mind having a set at some point in the future.

:preach: Worry not good people of CF, if you missed this momentous occasion you still have a chance to celebrate tomorrow! It's July 6th, Fried Chicken Day! Bahaha

You are so right! It makes me so happy you discovered this haha.
