As the title says, if you were limited to recommending 25 movies for people to watch, what would you pick?

In other words, "list your favorite 25 movies."

I don't have time/energy to list 25, but among those I think should be on the list from a general "this is a classic, everyone should see this" type movie ("my fav 25" would not quite be the same list FYI):

The Ten Commandments
Outlaw Josey Wales
Forrest Gump

Mary Poppins

Wizard of Oz
Steel Magnolias

All of these transcend their particular type of movie or when they were made IMO. Frankly I pity anyone who has not seen and/or can't appreciate them at least to a modest extent.
