This is was quite an episode, not as exciting as the one before it but it is one of the information sharing episodes rather than an action one. I think that this episode is the one that sets up the entire season.

I was also glad that other people thought that Jack's 'nephew' is really his son.

Ok, this is only my second season of watching this regularly. Would you please tell me, if known, the relationship between Jack and his sister in law and why it is thought that his newphew is really his son.

Also, who was the blonde girl that the guy who is to buy parts to detonate the remaining bombs picked up? Somehow I missed catching who that is.

I don't think there's any known past relationship (but I've only seen from season 4 on).

I'm not sure who the blond was, probably someone whose identity they'll reveal further on the season.

I just flew in from Minnesota (and boy are my arms tired.... haha that never gets old [yes it does ]) and the first thing I did after smooching my hubby and my dog was watch 24. The next thing I did was come here to talk about it. But now I'm too tired. So here's a random and meaningless "wow, great episode!" for your viewing pleasure. (And Dr. Romano needs another helicopter to fall on him. Still can't stand the guy.)

Sorry, this is a little bit off topic, but still 24 related.

I just finished watching the entire first season on my computer. I started yesterday afternoon and watch like 6 episodes, and then I started up again this morning around 9am and watched the rest of the season. My head is about to explode.

For the Jack/sister in law question - Clearly there is history between them. When Dr.Romano/Jack's brother Graham comes home and tells his wife he just spoke with Jack, she (quite composedly) freaks out and just says "Oh???!.....Really....awkward pause...How is that possible?!" I forget exactly what Graham said but he got all snide and snarky and said something along the lines of "Yeah, you'd like that if he came back, wouldn't you?! You just couldn't get over him from the last time" ......

And for the Josh possibly being Jack's kid - the abovementioned possible 'history' and the fact that he looks like Jack. And the gut instincts of a million people.

This just in.....

It has been confirmed that Logan will be in this season (sometime in the middle), and will have info that CTU needs! Martha (his wife(Jean Smart)) will be in this season as well, along with Aaron Pierce (the secret service agent that worked for David Palmer then Logan). The only two people who haven't been confirmed are Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) and Mike Novick (Jude Ciccolella).

Thanks, somehow I missed that short scene and felt I missed something. Did not want to download the epi for that brief scene.

Last night's epi was fairly tame, but full of info.

As far as Graham is concerned, I have one question, "What about family?' He uses that on Jack, yet does not follow it himself.
