Thanks! I really need a polarizing filter for my camera because I seldom can use a long shutter speed without the photos being overexposed. In that first picture, the shade worked to my advantage. I was very pleased with it.

latteda, I really liked the bear photo. I'm terrified of bears since I saw one about 2 feet away from me when I was a child. Thankfully it didn't see me. But they're still pretty.

It was fun. That mama and baby were quite a ways away, but we saw a fairly large black bear that came up on the trail about 10-15 feet away from us. It freaked me out for a moment but it didn't really seem to pay much notice to us or care that we were there. Where were you when you saw the bear so close?

It was fun. That mama and baby were quite a ways away, but we saw a fairly large black bear that came up on the trail about 10-15 feet away from us. It freaked me out for a moment but it didn't really seem to pay much notice to us or care that we were there. Where were you when you saw the bear so close?

I was sitting on the porch of a relative's house, and apparently someone down the road called us and told us there was a bear coming down the road to our house (they live WAYYYYYY in the boonies). We just saw him come around the corner of the house to the front of it, pass by me in the chair and just kept walking on. He ran down the road after my uncle ran for his rifle.
