I thought I would share some of my photos from my trip to New Orleans yesterday. It rained a LOT, so a bunch of my photos ended up being somewhat fuzzy because I couldn't keep the lens dry. Anyway...

Well, now that I've got clear directions...

I'm still trying to figure out this rooster thing.

This has to be the most pink I've ever seen in one place in my entire life. Whoa.

Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain...well, you get the point.

These little things were everywhere, and they creep me out.

Can you say delicious? I can. De-lic-ious.

This didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, but I like the buildings. I think they're neat.

People in New Orleans love pie too I guess.

I'm always amazed. The everyday things over there look like pieces of artwork from history. Just in awe...

...yeah...it was fun learning how to drive, let me tell ya

It was a little fun getting to church this morning. Where my house is there are four roads to take and three of them were under water. Here in Missouri most the county roads have low water crossings instead of bridges. I had to take a slight this morning. This picture is taken from inside the Jeep. What you can't see in it is that where I'm parked the water is up to the bottom of the cab and I got 6 inches of lift on it. It's a safe guess that the creek is up bout 6 foot above normal level.

Yeah, I don't remember the significance, but roosters are a big part of the "magick" they do.

Yes lights, Marlboro Light Menthol 100's, my lame attempt to make myself quit. Used to smoke Newports can't stand these cigs bleh.
