This was what the first part of my day was filled with!

I got to babysit my nephew Jonny for the first time! He's such a sweet baby. Even though he was crying all morning at his daddy's house, he was quiet and happy with his Auntie.

He just woke up and I was getting him out of the car.

We were hanging out at a coffee shop while his daddy was at an appointment.

And on the way home from seeing my nephew I decided to stop at a nearby mission. It is Mission San Miguel.

I've never actually seen an alms box before.

I LOVE old cemetaries.

I thought this sign was cool.

Beautiful crucifix.

I loved how the sun was right behind Jesus's head like a halo.

I LOVE old mossy crosses too.

It's in San Miguel. North of San Luis Obispo. I've been to a lot of the missions in Cali. They're interesting to visit.

Yeah, they're kinda cool. I've been to that one on a road trip once.

I just wanted to add that I love how he's starting to get fat! He was too skinny for a while there. We thought that his mother (my brother's ex wife) wasn't feeding him enough. She would only send 2oz of breastmilk for a 4 hour visit. Which is not nearly enough. But he's getting fat now so I guess he's getting enough milk!

I've been to a few of the CA Missions but that was so long ago the only one i remember even a little is the Ventura one. Might have to do that at some point when i get out there.
