Adventures in wedding planning: some random frightening pictures of my Mom and I

Me trying out the dance floor at one of the reception locations we're looking into... staff came in right when Mom was taking this shot Kirk and I have named this the "constipated dance".

Mom tells 'em how it is...

I also took a picture of me (purposefully) looking like a total creeper while peering into the mirror on one of their centerpieces... my family thinks it is hilarious, but I was so successful at being creepy I am afraid to post the pic in public

There is a beautiful campground just up the road from where we were in the first few photos! It is a gorgeous and very woodsy place set in the middle of the Redwoods

You guys should definitely make a visit there some time! It really is beautiful and just awe inspiring to see how HUGE the Redwoods really are!!!

D, I LOVE the Redwoods pics. I went there when I was 16 with my family. We had a "nature" site. In the middle of no where. It was lovely. I wanna go back really bad.

It is such a cute chapel. It is itty-bity. You can only invite like 8 people to your wedding.

That's perfect for me. I want a very small wedding.

Harmony Chapel. I think it looks like a chapel for hobbits.

The inside. It's so small the pews are sideways.

Omgosh, the raging Tolkien fan in me went crazy when I saw this!! It's sooooo neat!

California totally trumps most other states for beauty and interesting places.

Thanks Yeah...we just stopped random people on the trail and asked them to take our picture...or if I saw a couple where one was taking the photo, I just asked them if they would like a picture together and they usually offered to do the same for us in return
