There is no doubt this guy was killed, whatever the reason, so why aren't the mainstream news channels reporting on this? And if they are, please link me because so far I've only been able to find a few blogs that are trying to connect the dots.

This is really horrible. Of course it's more ominous if he was killed for being a witness, but even if he was just caught in the riot and killed, DeAndre Joshua's death is incredibly tragic.
I hope some serious attention is paid to this murder and that Joshua isn't just a forgotten footnote in the Michael Brown saga.

What is in the interest of major media reporting?

Last I checked, they survive on providing information that will bring in advertising revenue.

We live in a town or city. We live in a State. We live in a country. We live in a world.

Turning the dial, how much do you expect to see from local and national channels?

Almost everyday, there is at least one killing in my nearest city. It will likely be in papers or on MSM networks, but rarely national. We cannot rely on being spoon fed news by major media.

We have 24 hours of recycling cable and radio news. Just enough to keep the money coming in.

Stories about the war on Christmas are far more interesting and important.
