1) Humanity was to work as God's stewards in the care and management of our world. We are to represent God, a priestly role. Whenever scripture mentions God clothing people it is always His priests. The Fall did not annul that role. God's covering of the couple had little to do with body shame as we know it, but was an act of great grace extended to humanity to continue with God's initial purposes for humanity.

2) Humanity was not created immortal.That was to come, symbolised by the tree of life. Jesus alone was to bring that to humanity. We don't know what death would be like in an unfallen world of course, but significantly different from what we experience now. That article does not follow this direction.

Isn't that a reference to the New Earth?

Genesis: 1. 27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Ok figure this one out... before fall or after?

What we find, then, is that while impurity is not sinful, it is associated with things that were instituted after the Fall. That causes us to ask why sex is impure. I believe the natural answer is that sexual relations as we know them were instituted after the Fall- so that the first sex mentioned comes immediately after the fall, when Adam knows his wife in Genesis 4:1. This brings focus on St. Paul’s teaching that a man and his wife should agree to abstain from sexual relations for a short period of time in order to intensify prayer. As in Leviticus and Numbers, elevated states of holiness require abstention from sex.

What we find, then, is that there was no death before the fall, but there was a blessing that is analogous to death. The same, I believe, is true of sex. There was no sex before the Fall, but there was a proces analogous to sex.

I was recently thinking about adam and eve, and 2 very confusing things occurred to me about them.

1-Do you think they went to heaven or hell? They are the two people responsible for all the sin and problems going on in the world today.

2-This is a bit trickier of a question. If Adam and eve didnt sin, would the same souls exist right now or not? To be more specific, would WE exist right now?

Would we live with the same families we live with now, just in a utopia version of this world, if they didnt sin?

I dont know if the soul exists before birth, but I do know each soul alive now has a unique identity created by God. Adam and Eves sin caused sin and death, and the problems associated with it, to enter in this world. Its highly likely that if they didnt sin, since the world with be a utopic happy place, there would be no need for people to move around the world, and thus, many of the families who exist now (including many of our own) wouldnt exist, because the reasons our ancestors moved to where we live is because of the world being an imperfect place, as a result of adam and eves sin.

1=Yes
2=Yes

How does that answer my question?

It doesn't. I've noticed too often people avoid answering difficult questions, or give an answer that would relate to a similar but different question, or answer another question from the same thread that's easier to answer.

I think they were saved by their faith in Gods Messiah, which God prophesied to them in Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

As far as what could have been, God already knew that Adam and Eve would sin against Him before He created them. He chose us before He made the world:

Ephesians 1:4

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love

No one really knows for sure why He chose us. What we do know is, it couldn't have turned out any differently. This is the only world that God ever planned to create, and by that I mean, there wasn't a Plan B.

If the fall never happened then God had already got a way around your problem of over crowding. You can ask Him about it when you see Him. :)
And who is to say how much of a sex drive Adam and Eve had. There is a big span they lived over 500 years, but how long was Eve furtile? This is before God numbered mankinds days to under 100 years.

That happened after the Flood with the canopy changing. Do you agree?

Before the flood

Genesis: 6. 3. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

They were the first humans ever.

They were incredibly blessed despite their sin, so blessed that God showed himself to them and walked with them in the garden, so blessed that they were directly formed out of the dust of the earth and from Adam's rib.

They worshiped God, gave dues to God for his works ("with the help of the lord I have brought forth a son").

Of course they'll be in paradise. Their sins to not take away from how blessed of people they were.

Do you think people were originally meant to be immortal?

Yes, Adam and Eve were immortal because death had not entered the World until the fall.

Do you think they would've looked ageless like in lord of the rings? I'm not comparing reality with fiction, but thats the best way to understand it.
