1st: My friend Jim who I hang out with all the time used to be a regular church goer and strong Christian(at least in my eyes). He introduced me to a wonderful church, and though I didn't go to services or anything like that, their Thursday youth group is one of the few positive memories I have from my highschool days. Unfortunately, now he spends too much time smoking, drinking, going to strip clubs, looking at porn, etc. and doesn't go to church at all. I'd like to talk him into going back, but am not sure how to broach the subject :-( So could you pray that I get the oppourtunity to bring it up and that he goes along with it?
2nd: Kind of the same thing, but concerning my parents. I want to talk them into going to church too. Mom defenitely has some anti church sentiment... and I'm not sure how my dad would feel about it sense he was brought up in a church that uses the book of mormon and has been pretty hostile towards other denominations. I want to start going, but I'd like for them to start going with me

May the Lord Lord Prompt you when the door opens for Jim, and may His Spirit guide your words and example to lend support while reserving judgment. May He also guide you with your parents. May He give you patience until He opens the door of opportunity.
