You again started your propaganda without any base (as usual)?

What is the difference between "Hindu Propaganda" - Title of your thread and you calling Hindus as propagandist's and my belief of "Christian posts as logicless"?

Sheesh, that's a chlenge. Let's see

1) Basically, you review what you did or avoided to do on your life, and returns to make amends and correct your errors.

2) Why? Disturbing answer: because you, me, we all are not doing enough for our neighbours. The world could probably not be perfect, but can be way better than it is now.

3) Impossible. I am limited to a human understandment and to this hardware called brain. A gross understatement would be to say God Is Eternal, Immutable, Unique, Creator of all Things, Endlessly Just and Good. But these words are not even close to reality.

4) Hm, hard to define. There are people on this world with the more pure serenity on their eyes. with a feeling of complete conection with God. Such feeling transcend religions: we can see Buddhists, Hindus, Muslin, Christians, Wiccans, no matter. There are always people who meet this peace. Exactly how, I don't know. If this is the real true peace, if we will not find a deeper feeling at the end of the road, I also don't know.

5) I don't think it is. Unavoidable? Sometimes. Only resource left? Once in a while. Justifiable? Never. I'd stick with the "Forgive 70 x 7" and "offer the other face" rules.

6) State of spirit of total communion with God and your Neighbour; ausence of bad feelings and/or thoughts. Unnestopable desire to love and help others. How to get there? Shesh, I still have a couple of hundreds incarnations to go, if there's no accidents.

7) Wow, an easy question. Love in action.

8) Don't know. Depends of the person. Can be a medical condition, can be lack of faith, can be due of not managing to do what the person wanted to...

9) say, don't you have any harder question? I do not know. There is the words of Jesus "Love God with all your heart, and your neighbour like yourself". I see it as a Zen koan. I mean, I know the comamndment, but I don't fully grasp it, I don't feel it taking over my soul and heart. But I will keep trying.

10) As I said before, I'd stick with the "Forgive 70 x 7" and "offer the other face" rules.

11) Someone once said half of humanity is afraid of death. The other half is afraid of life. I tend to agree.

12) Peace

13) hm? I guess the earthly life is full of distractions. Like everybody else, I have my hobbies, I have my obligations, I have my duty, I have the things that give me pleasure. It is a challenge to ballance all that and avoid hedonism? Sure it is.

14) Well, we all have the same Father, we are all getting to the same place, what one do affects all others. In this terms, I tend to agree

15) I also tend to agree, but that's quite a flamebait in the end of such a good thread, so... I will not give a big answer here.

Peace

So Attacking Sanatana Dharma is a legitimate act while Attacking Christianity is illegal. Now you know why this World is having a lot of problems, People who say Mine is the truth, rest are bogus/lies are the real problem makers, Crusade during medival times and Jihad now are living proof. Attacking Villages and towns based on nothing but beliefs. God knows How many millions must have died due to this evil.

As i said I can walk into a Church and Think about Jesus, Can you do the same like coming into a temple. Thats the Real point here, The world will be a better place if people like me are around

What else needs to be provided? Does God have to assign medical conditions according to hindu theology? A Mother with AIDS will give birth to a child with AIDS, it's a scientific fact.

It never ceases to amaze me how the simplest of life's questions can not be answered rationally using the bible or the christian thesis. Must you lean on science or genetics to provide an answer to such questions? Science that believes that this universe came from a big bang! I suppose it is
Convenient to ansser such questions using science but the fact remains that the scripture can not or will not even attempt to answer these questions let alone answer them rationally and with in an authoritative manner.

Why not? Perhaps the experience of such hardship would draw the person closer to God than had that person not not had that expereince?

Fair enough, if I have a retarded child it may turn me towards God. Would that be true love of God or would that be my selfish agenda? Only God knows.

But the question is What is the fault of the child? Why does he or she have to suffer so that God can draw me closer to God through the child's hardship?

The fact is that you can chose, so what is the problem? If one dies in invincible ignorance they can still be saved, theoretically. It is up to God.

If God is omnipotent, i.e. all powerful then there is no question of choice. We can not say that he is omnipotent and that he does not control our choice! If he does not control our choice then he is not omnipotent. So which one is true?

What happens to you after you die?
Generally, either Hel or Asgard. The former has nothing to do with the Christian Hell. As for me personally, I hope to join my Patron, which likely means I will travel far and wide within the realms of existence, since he has no hall of his own.
Why is there poverty and suffering in the world?
Because the world is not perfect, and neither are the Gods. Where there is order, there will always be chaos.
Describe God.
He is passionate and chaotic. He destroys so that new growth can occur, like the forest fire that clears away the dead and decaying. He shakes things up to prevent people from becoming complacent. He provokes change for the sake of change.
How does one obtain true peace?
I don't know.
When is war justifiable?
When the greater good demands it, or when it will prevent worse things from happening. The trouble is that different people have different ideas concerning the greater good.
Describe Heaven; and how do you get there.
I don't know that there's a heaven in the traditional sense of perfect bliss and harmony. For me, though, heaven would be new paths, new mysteries, new challenges, new opportunities to grow and evolve.
What is the greatest quality humans possess?
Courage, truth, honor, loyalty, discipline, hospitality, self-reliance, perseverence, and industriousness. We consider these to be the greatest of human qualities.
Why are so many people depressed?
Clinical depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, but it can also be caused by external factors, generally mundane. I don't attach any particular religious significance to this condition.
What is the meaning of life?
The meaning of life is whatever meaning you give it.
How would God want us to respond to aggression and terrorism?
Well, our Gods are definitely not the "turn the other cheek" sort. If someone attacks you or your loved ones, you are encouraged to fight back (within the bounds of the law, of course). But there are times when it is prudent to step back from conflict, and most conflicts can be resolved without resorting to aggression.
What are we all so afraid of?
That depends on the person.
What is your one wish for the world?
I want for people to learn how to enjoy this life and its endless gifts. Too many people believe "I could be happy, if only..."
What is our greatest distraction?
Vain pursuit of things that cannot be attained. We always want more, more, more.
"We are all one." What are your thoughts on this?
I believe we are all individuals, but it's not unreasonable to think that all humans (indeed, all beings) have a connection of some sort.
"One way mentality of some religions". Don't you think it is Illogical w.r.t to God ? If God is infinite, do you think one book with some verses can disclose his divine plan ?
Irrelevant, as I don't believe the Gods are infinite. I do, however, believe that no deity can be summed up in a single book.

Reader's Digest: Feb 1990 Page 199

"Pop star Cliff Richard visited a Bihari refugee camp in Bangladesh: 'That first morning I must have washed my hands a dozen times. I didn't want to touch anything, least of all the people. Everyone in those camps was covered in sores and scabs. I was bending down to one little mite, mainly for the photographer's benefit, and trying not to have too close a contact. Just then someone accidentally stood on the chilld's fingers. He screamed and, as a reflex, I grabbed him, forgetting his dirt and his sores. I remember that warm little body clinging to me and the crying stopped instantly. In that moment I knew I had much to learn about practicing Christian loving, but that at least I'd started."

16. Why did an elderly Catholic nun have no problem with gathering up the dying, leprous, starving, human refuse, many abandoned infants, left in the streets of Calcutta by the fine Hindu citizens of that city?

1- What happens to you after you die?
Im not sure, I believe that my soul will travel through the Underworld (Which is why I am to be burned with coins in my hand) and reach a place of waiting where I consider my life and the lessons I learned in it, when I choose, I will be re-born.

2- Why is there poverty and suffering in the world?
Because we cant get along

3- Describe God.
I believe in Zeus, Hera, thier family and children. I dont know what they look like PHYSICALLY, but they are just as we are, they have thier flaws and tempers, just as we do.

4- How does one obtain true peace?
I dont know.

5- When is war justifiable?
In response to OVERT agression

6- Describe Heaven; and how do you get there.
I dont go to heaven. My soul will eventually reach the other world where I will wait and think. Everyone who believes they will go there, goes there, regardless of how good or bad they were.

[quote7- What is the greatest quality humans possess?[/quote]Curiosity

Fix it, crush it if necessary

11- What are we all so afraid of?
Responsibility

I believe that we all share a collective unconsiousness and connection.

I put in the 16th question hoping to encourage others to join the OP poster in his game, which I feel should be 20 questions. We all have pertinent, and also very impertinent questions, answering them neither proves nor disproves the realities. Although many gathered here would like for you to think their way and will try to train your mind to do so. Or did you find his questions leading, misleading, calculated, or merely disingenuous?

The only thing one learns from being lured into debate and argument is how to debate and argue, nothing else; neither side learns anything else. It is a huge maze, either you enjoy wandering endlessly in it, at someone else's bidding, or you exit for more rewarding ways to spent one's time.

Leaving Mother T for a whole new thread of her own, God Bless her soul.......

Is it possible to decondition the conditioned mind? The game of fear, propaganda and numbers in the name of God is very cruel indeed. Alas, none of us sees that we are all pawns in this game.

Must be the love of God or may be it was the fear of the fire pit. Well, we can't be so sure now can we? Do we follow God because he loves us or do we follow him because he will throw us in hell for eternity if we don't...because we were just being innocent children as children should be?

Such severe punishment for innocence...such harsh judgment...such severe jealousy...no such god is worthy of worship.

No, I shall never bow down to such tyrant.

Most petty tyrants refuse to bow down to each other, that what wars are all about. Good point.

But you are not answering why those sick and dying were abandoned in the streets of Calcutta, is that not a Hindu city in India? Where was that religion's compassion?

Wait a minute. I hate to quote Bill O'Reilly, but you don't dismiss evil by pointing to a greater evil. Do you excuse evil behavior because "it's better than the crusades?"

Not this again. This is nothing more than a blame game or a series of accusations. There are sick and dying abandoned in Christian societies all over the world. There are little children raped by Christian pastors. But do the actions of these people diminish Christianity's teachings to those who follow it truly? I know that Christians like Arun or New_Found_Faith wouldn't participate in such acts. This does not excuse their actions.

Yes, I agree completely. Only the Hindus who ignored the impoverished of Calcutta are responsible for that sin. But as I said earlier, this sin isn't excused by pointing to the crusades (or anyone else's sin).
