Srry I'm a newbie but I jus wanna know if the 15 days of darkness is the truth.
I've heard from an impeccable source that they have 30 days of night in Barrow, Alaska. You get more than 15 days of darkness every year at the poles. In Prudhoe Bay, 7 of those days will be in November (linkie). The entire month of November is dark in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway this year and every year (until the plates shift sufficiently southward)
But how many of those are in November?I've heard from an impeccable source that they have 30 days of night in Barrow, Alaska.![]()
We don't really have winter in most of the Southern Hemisphere... then again our spring can occasionally jump from 5 (41) to 36 (97) and back again in the same week.13: in the comic the sun sets November 17th and doesn't rise until Dec 17h.
tulc(thought winters were (sometimes) tough in Chicago!)![]()
