For your definition to work. Speciation Must occur.
The "Dog kind" contains more than one species of "Dog". These different species cant successfull breed with each other (successfully means that they could produce offspring that could then produce offspring of its own, etc).
Speciation has occured and it has been Observed occuring.

Although not the best site, the Times site seems to have gone to password, and they coppied the time article.
An example.
You have two groups of animals Group A and Group B.
Group A and Group B are both Micro evolving, they have mutations and the mutations are "selected" or "deselected" etc. Both groups are able to interbreed, sharing their mutations with each other and are the same species.
For one reason or another Group B gets seperated away from Group A. They now no longer interbreed and cant share mutations but they continue to Micro Evolve. This Evolution continues, till Group B is so different from group A, that they can no longer successfully breed together.
So now, Group A and Group B can no longer share their mutations. Group B has become a new species, Species B.
Now, lets say this process happens again with Species B, and it ends up with a group in Species B, Speciating, into Species C.
Now Species A, B and C all come together in an area, competing for resources. Lets say Species A and species C are better at the competition than B. Species B could eventually Die out. Leaving species A and C. Species B existed for only a short time, however he could be considered a "transitional" between A and C. This is one of the reasons transitional Fossils are rare. "transitional" species may not stick around as long as others and not be around long enough to get many fossils.
Now, going back to our Species, lets say this continues and we are now at Species Z. Species Z is Far removed from Species A. Since it could not share its changes with Species A, it is very different from Species A. So different that it could be a different "kind" of animal.
Now, I have two questions,
1) Can you show us a mechanism that will stop the above from happening? That will stop Species Z from speciating out of its "kind?"
2) Can you provide me with the evidence I seek in this:
http://www.geocities.com/arikayx/Creationismasscience.html
It is what evidence we Should find if the Global Flood and Noahs Ark happend, No new information could be added, and animals couldnt evolve beyond their "kinds"
As a side question, can you provide me with a reason why AIG could not give me the evidence that should exist if their assumptions were true?

"Kind" is a vague term for a group of animals, e.g. the dog kind (all canines), the cat kind (all felines), the deer kind (all deer, except moose). Micro-evolution (adaptation) probably does occur, but macro-evolution or speciation does not.
