Why do we say "bye bye" but not "hi hi"?
Well I blame parents for that :D
Now this is the chief reason after careful consideration and giving it due thought process .........
When we greet , we are usually so keen to carry on further discussion that we don't wish to waste time with an extra HI !
But conversely when we part company we do so many times under pressure , other things call out for our attention , so we drag out the process even for just one extyra moment by saying Bye and then Bye again.

Hope this answers you question ........... if not BYE BYE :D

If I was born at exactly midnight is my birthday on both those days?

Not today and tomorrow!
Technically , scientifically , philosphically , institutionally and theologically ............... NO :D

There is only One Midnight in any 24 hours , the same is true of Noon of course , otherwise I would be claiming extra pay (I start at Noon)

So that idea about extra prezzies , just put it right out of your mind ....:p

Great answers but on the seeing thing again....I have to ask one more question.........."Can blind people be dyslexic when they read Braille?" If so, explain~!

Thank you :D

This is a tough one but I will summise that dyslexia can effect blind people and their reading Braille.
This is based on the definition that dyslexia is more than sight based.

So, dyslexia can be summarised as having problems with processing visual or auditory information; with holding that information in working memory and with kinaesthetic awareness, co-ordination and automaticity. These can affect academic progress across a variety of subjects. Specifically:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Spelling
  • Expressing thoughts
  • Sequencing
  • Differentiating left from right
  • Orientation
  • Short term memory
  • Time management
  • Organisation
http://www.dyslexic.com/database/articles/whatisdyslexia.html

I think it has a great deal to do with short term memory loss , and difficulties in processing information , whatever the format .

I know there are degrees of Dislexia , because my daughter suffers from it but not as bad as most.

Thanks for the question , it was a guessing... er I mean a learning process ...:D

I don't know who Marc Bolan is but I know a lot of my friends are dyslesic and possibly my youngest brother and when I seen the question on the net, it struck me as odd and So I asked you! SO when you said you have a daughter that is slighly dyslexic, I was like oops! Hopefully I didn't cause an offense here to anyone...Never in my wildest dreams did I think that someone was blind would be dyslexic until you wrote out your reasons and then I was like I knew some of that! SO Like WOW ....Thanks! :)

Actually the people who have Dyslexia or who had it when they were alive are many famous people ....... First here is a quote and then look at the list of famous Dyslexics....

Why is dyslexia a gift?

Dyslexic people are visual, multi-dimensional thinkers. We are intuitive and highly creative, and excel at hands-on learning. Because we think in pictures, it is sometimes hard for us to understand letters, numbers, symbols, and written words.

We can learn to read, write and study efficiently when we use methods geared to our unique learning style.
