Hello, Cygnus. Lovely photo.......... I like any poppy, really, cos they're all beautiful. :)

That's interesting, about the Martial Arts. My brother had a huge collection of kung fu videos and my favourites were Drunken Master and Seven Grand Masters. Seen those ones? But for me, Jacki Chan's the man!! He's just so cool! Have you seen Shanghai Nights? My kids were just watching it the other night.............
Hi There JS

Yes I have seen most Jacky Chan films , he is superb , but I must admit I am a Bigger Bruce Lee fan ..... so in my house it's me and Bruce Lee in one corner and my wife and Kids and Jacky Chan in the other corner , I even have a pair of Nunchuckas to referee with .... :p

There was just something so dramatic and artistic almost mystic about Bruce Lee , he inspired me to take up martial arts as a youngster . :)

Cygnus, it's cool that you answer our questions so quickly. :)

Yes, my brother was a huge fan of Bruce Lee and he had many posters of him. I found him just a little too deliberate, though. ;) Have you seen the film 'Man from Hong Kong'? Made in the 70's and set in Australia. (KJ might know it). Its theme song was Skyhigh by Jigsaw. We loved that film and song!!

Why are jelly beans called jelly beans? After all they are not filled with jelly.
sfunny you should mention Jelly beans , because I bought a packet the other day and they were absolutely wonderful , it is so unusual for me to buy a pack of sweets that I cannot remember the last time I bought Jelly Beans , maybe 15 years ago:) they are my fav non -choc sweet (candy) :yum:

Here's some info ........ :)

The exact origins of the jelly bean are lost in time, and only a part of its history is known. Most experts believe the jelly center is a descendent of a Mid-Eastern confection known as Turkish Delight that dates back to Biblical times. The shell coating is an offspring of a process called panning, first invented in 17th century France to make Jordan Almonds. The panning process, while done primarily by machine today, has remained essentially the same for the last 300 years. The French began by rocking almonds in a bowl filled with sugar and syrup until the almonds were coated with a candy shell. Today, large rotating pans do the heavy work, while master confectioners apply their true art in adding the ingredients to create just the right shell.

Somehow the two processes made their way to America. Jelly beans quickly earned a place among the many glass jars of "penny candy" in general stores where they were sold by weight and taken home in paperbags. It wasn't until the 1930's, however, that jelly beans became a part of Easter traditions.

Now my question to you is, personally Why do we sin so much and dont realise it till its done? I have my theroy on why we do sin but i dont understand as to why we dont acknowledge it till its done, its almost like we want to do it and so do. Thanks i hope its not to much to ask but i would love to hear your opinion.

A toughie.

What does my signature mean?

(I'd really like to know... I was in an altered state when I wrote it, and I seem to remember thinking it was profound, but... ?)

:D
Hi Avatar

ahhhhhhhhh , just take a minute and come over here and rest on my phsychiatrick couch .......... comfortable ? Good!

It basically means you love the prescence of clarity of mind , the good clean air and the need for warmth and people .Yet you sense a prevailing inability to help folk as much as you would wish .

Now , this consultation is free , because I am still in my early days ;) ... be well and be assured winter cometh .

I am not sure about that film although I know the tune really well , great pop song .......... reminds me of "January" by Pilot .

I have all the Bruce Lee films , now including the uncut versions .....I waited over 20 years to see them as they were made ....
