My original post is sort of a joke to be honest, but yeah, there is a scripture about the end times and wars and rumors of wars (i think everybody knows that already). So really, it was well within your power to know the verse.

And how exactly were we supposed to conclude from that that Russia was going to invade Georgia in August of 2008?
Obviously you don't know how to read the bible, the bible isn't going to say "X will happen to Y in the year Z" in terms of wordly conflict. Most of the bible's prophecy deals with obscurity, but when it does gives actual names and times of things, it's usually still discreet and deals with the spritual world. It's just another evidence of prophecy being fulfilled.
You are extending this conversation beyond what it needs to be, ask God for interpretation of the verse, I'm not saying anything about the Bible other than it's message and contents are true.
