...I'm started to realise that salvation is something that is appointed before we are even conceived so no matter what stage we are at when we die, we shall be saved.

That doesn't follow.

New Testament salvation is deliverence from "the flesh" by receiving God's Spirit (Titus 3:5-6). This began at Pentecost (Acts 2:4, 33) and continues the same today (Acts 2:39; Galatians 3:13-15).

Have you actually received what all the disciples received?
