  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Proverbs 4 -- The Bread Of Wickedness And The Wine Of Violence.

1 Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; pay attention and gain understanding. This is why we study history. Pay attention to Martin Luther King Jr., or to Malcolm X, or to Michael Jordan. That is how you gain understanding. 2 I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching...

The following I believe is essential and you can put them in any order you want to. All these have come about from being involved in cultural issues in the...

    How Much is Enough?

Hi everyone. I'll try to keep this brief to avoid the "wall of text" syndrome. Still, this is from the heart... My late dad was almost the stereotypical "puritan work ethic" sort. He almost didn't believe in God's grace, actually. The whole "saved by grace but kept by works" kind of thing. He...

Should Fathers Bathe their baby Daughters?

I usually bathed my daughters as long as they wore pampers and needed changing and the wife told me to. Being part of my heart, not one malicious thought ever crossed my mind. However, the daughter that I bathed and grew up gives me the impression that she perceived it somehow as having been...
