  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Fashion Colors [Poll]

What colors of clothing do you think that you look good wearing? What colors do not look good on you? For example, I think I look best in black, dark blue, and dark green. Brown and orange clothing makes me look atrocious.

    Should women not wear pants?

Deuteronomy 22:5 "A woman shall not wear man's clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman's clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.“ I don’t know. This was in the olden days and they’re were minor differences between woman and men’s attire. But that was...

Prada pulls monkeylike products after 'blackface imagery' backlash I don't know what's more scandalous, the blackface or a keychain that costs $500.

H&M, a Fashion Giant, Has a Problem: $4.3 Billion in Unsold Clothes

H&M, a Fashion Giant, Has a Problem: $4.3 Billion in Unsold Clothes I am curious how much this can be summed up to people not liking their clothes versus possible boycott/backlash over their monkey ad. At the same time, retail stores have been struggling as of late, so they could simply be a...

    Gothic Subcultures Part V

    27. Glam Goth Goth probably owes just as much to the New Romantic and New Wave movements of the 80’s as it does to Punk for its origins. With its focus on dark clothing, heavy make-up, frilly dandyish clothing, and theatrics, it’s not difficult to see how goth could evolve from the New...

    16. Geek Goth Essentially, all Goths are Geeks. After all, how can one devote so much time into dressing up, reading old literature, and collecting obscure music without being somewhat Geeky? You will hence find typical Geek traits in all Goths, but some will be more Geeky than others. The...

    8. Mopey Goth The most common Goth stereotype held by non-Goths, the Mopey Goths are the ones who take the whole “dark and gloomy” aspect of Goth far too seriously. They feel that to be Goth, one must never appear to be remotely happy. They will most often be found at home in their rooms...

    Flying Fashion

Why don’t people travel nicely? I fly out to visit my elderly mother about every 2 or 3 months and getting there from here is a 2 or 3 airline flight day. I look around at my fellow travelers on my flights and in the airports and I am appalled that their state of dress. Why are so many people...
