  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Again he sent other servants, saying...

What the rich man didn’t say

Jesus once told about two men. One was rich and the other was a beggar. There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich...

The parable of the Sheep and Goats is about the consummation of the ages

Here is a commentary I have been working on for a controversial passage: Matthew 25:31-46. I am not arguing for or against the concept of hell. This is merely an attempt to answer several questions 1. When will the son of man come into his glory? 2. Who are the sheep? 3. Who are the goats? 4...
