  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Why do we have a two party system?

In a one party state there is no dodging responsibility, with two parties you can keep passing the buck back and forth forever, and the group that is out of power and annoyed thinks: 'just wait 4 years and then it's our turn' as though that's going to make much difference, but they will spend...

Preamble for mods and everyone: Alright, I did make sure to read over the new policy on cursing/swearing before deciding to try posting this, and I think it doesn't violate that (as all the swearing is embedded in the remarks the young man makes, which are effectively the substance of the video...

Why do Republican legislatures suddenly hate democracy when they lose?

Republicans in Wisconsin and Michigan, defeated in November, seek payback by limiting the powers of incoming Democrats We expand or maintain certain powers, but if we lose, we try to change the laws to prevent oversight. This is not how the system is supposed to work. These antics were also...

Who else is a Bible-believing Democratic voter?

I’d like to find more connections to people and organizations that stand on the essentials (or, fundamentals) of the Christian faith (the Bible is true; Jesus is the divine Son of God; He really did die on the cross and literally rise again; salvation is by faith in Christ alone. . .and so on)...
