  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Singles and Christmas

My pastor gave a sermon on Sunday (taking a break from 1 Corinthians) about getting so busy this time of year that we miss out on Christ in Christmas. He used the story of Mary and Martha to illustrate. Good stuff but as a mature single it seemed so foreign although it's not just about being...

    Why satan LOVES Christmas

This is no new understanding! But the churches of the world hide or ignore this truth! The Catholic Encyclopediareveals: "Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the Church. Irenaeus and Tertullian omit it from their lists of feasts…" (vol. 3, pp. 724, 728). Christmas was even briefly...

    Prince of Peace!

“This Child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many…” (Luke 2:34) Revolutions are always messy. Ever wonder why the PRINCE OF PEACE came and died for the sins of the world and still there is much turmoil and lack of PEACE in the world? That’s because He did not come to bring...

Take time to breathe during the Christmas season!

Here's a short video I made about the Christmas season. Hope it blesses you! (I made it a few years ago, so the dates in it are...uh...dated, but I think the main idea is still fresh) :)

    When Does your Christmas Start?

My wife is hosting a group of ladies one day next week. So over this weekend we are partly decorating for the holidays. Not everything, but just enough to give our house the "feeling of Christmas". For me, it is weeks too early, like it is a sin to be starting in November, even before Advent...

Was the Star of Bethlehem of Satan?

There is a certain teaching that describes the star as being produced by Satan. The reason for this conclusion is that the star first led them to Herod. Then after they were led to Herod, it proceeded towards Bethlehem. Why lead them to Herod first is the crucial question and the only answer is...

    Interactive Christmas Program

Hi, I was looking for some ideas on an interactive type play or Christmas program for our children's church this year. I found one at Group which looked great, but I wanted a few other options to bring my team. Any ideas? Something that might have worked for some of you in the past maybe. We'd...

Should a Christian Celebrate Easter and Christmas?

I see some of the traditions and customs that are done during these times and clearly have nothing to do with Christ. I have also noticed that Easter is sometimes in March and sometimes in April. Every year Easter is on a different day. Now if we were to say that Christ rose that day and...
