  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Man Vs. Christian.

Man vs. Christian. Let’s face it; it’s all about the man. He was first to be created as an image and representative and when that didn’t follow through as required; another man was created to make all things the first did wrong; right. The man has been historically seen as the epitome of...

    Authority in the Christian Church

I have spent a lot of time discussing theology with Roman Catholics, since I was born and raised Roman Catholic but have left that faith on account of their doctrine and dogma. Thus, that brings me to a few questions that I have been reflecting on for a while now. During these discussions with...

    Frustrating The Grace Of God

How can a Christian quote Psalm 139:16 and defend abortion? What about those Christians who condone and excuse the very thing the Bible declares an abomination, or ignore the passages they don’t like because the Bible was “written long ago by mere men?” Do they read the Bible enough to know...

Gift of the priesthood was a gift to serve.

I have given your priest's office unto you as a service of...

He knows Im Catholic, which leads me...

    Stop Sleeping!

Tuesday, December 20, 2016, 3:30 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “Have Thine Own Way, Lord.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Romans 13 (ESV). Subject to Authority (vv. 1-7) Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from...

    Lutheran Church Authority

I'm having a hard time understanding the Lutheran position on church authority. Perhaps this is because different groups have varying views. What role does ministry have in church authority? Do Lutherans believe any group of people anywhere can start a church whenever they want? Why is it that...

How to know when a ministry project is failing

A friend invited me to join his home-based Bible study group about a year ago. He'd been running it from his house with two or three participants for a while. With my help, he had big dreams of speaking at conferences, selling books, etc. With me being younger and less experienced, I wanted to...
