Crystal,

High school is tough, and unfortunately college can be worse (unless of course we've talked you into going to Franciscan University by then;) ).

God has put these people in your life so you can be a good example to them. I'm praying for you.

When I was in highschool I was a virgin and EVERYONE knew it. It was something I was proud of... I never smoked pot, most of my friends did, and believe it or not, not one person gave me a hard time about. My good friends liked me for who I was and accepted my beliefs w/o question.

By the time I got to college the guys used to tease me and gamble over who'd get me first....I always took it with a "grain of salt".

Needless to say, I'm the only one that won that gamble!!! LOL!!! Did I stop hanging out with them, or tell them to quit? No, because I'm one of those people that accepts people for who they are no matter what.... Besides, it really didn't bother me, cuz I knew who I was and was proud of that!!!

You experience so much in life hun! If you are one with the Holy Spirit, you will perservere(sp?)!!!!! ( I love big words, but don't know always how to spell them! LOL!)

Just keep praying, and YOu will win that gamble!!!! :D

Yeah just pray unceasingly in the hall Hail Mary's that's what I did. It helps when you hear someone cuss or say something rude about someone else you can pray for that person, then you wont be guilty of the sin of omission.

You will prevail you're almost out of there, never stop praying.

We love you Crystal,

Malcolm

The real "high school" world that is. That kind of thing doesn't happen around me, every day at my place of business. I am used to the F word though.

I believe that was the point flying over your head.

Obviously high school is going to be more lewd than your office. Why? More sexually charged teenagers. However, the point was that temptation is everywhere and being shocked at it is plain youth and inexperience.

She's being subjected to disrespect and inappropriate behavior, and you somehow have the effrontery to justify it? Amazing, simply amazing. It's comments like this, and the one you made above, which make me lose faith in the ability of men to be gentlemen anymore.

If I ever heard of a son of mine making sexually lewd comments towards a girl... heaven help him, I'll beat his sorry butt seven ways to Sunday. I don't care how "charged" his hormones are.

So what? Innocence is a bad thing? We should write off people's struggles because they're young and inexperienced?

That is really offensive. To what do you attribute your offensive behavior? Is that just the way all teenager are today or is it particular to you?

I'm sad that "school" is less of a place to be educated and learn to be a productive citizen than it is a meeting place where there is no discipline to stop the lasciviousness, lack of discipline, and intellectual sloth.

Vice is a leech on any law-abiding society. Wait until that leech grows into a lion that devours the righteous.

Btw, kudos to Crystal. Do not let anybody use you or manipulate you, you deserve much better than that. You are a daughter of God, and have dignity, you only deserve to be loved and not used. Keep that in mind, and you'll be okay.

Now, if only I could show up at your school and put those boys in their place.

I wanted to make another comment, especially to all of the young ladies here. Be extremely, extremely careful at parties (if you decide to go). I don't know about other areas of the country but in Arizona, it is quite prevalent for a woman to be taken advantage of and not be able to do anything about it. This happens because of a rape drug that is slipped into the woman's drink when she is not looking. This will paralyze you or make you uncoscious allowing the man to rape you with no struggle.

So please, be very, very careful. I would recommend that you do not go to "drinking" parties at all. Once I converted, I never did, rather my christian friends and I had parties that were good wholesome fun where there was no drugs, alcohol or sex.

Find parties like these to have fun at.

I will pray for all in school, may you all be strong in your faith.

Since I seem incapable of understanding what I have, myself, posted I would kindly ask you to point out to me where I have condoned anything.

I am fairly certain that I only went so far as to acknowledge its existance, and that surprise or denial thereof was silly.

No. I'm just shocked that it took her this long to realize how ugly and non-Utopian the world was.

I am sorry it offended you. Honestly, being mis-understood everytime I post here sort of annoys me, but I let it slide. There are greater travesties in this world.

There's only so much that the teachers can stop. There's only so many of them and there are plenty more kids.

And I have no idea who the kids are that Crystal is hanging out with. Unless my old school isn't representative I can't imagine that many of the boys who would do that sort of thing.

Crystal71503, God give you Peace.

Look at it as a wonderful opportunity to show your love of God by your perseverance and fortitude. When chaff is thrown into fire, it is destroyed. But when gold is placed in fire, it gleams all the brighter!

You are a blessing to us. May the Blessed Mother be your guide to Christ.

God Bless,
