The Bible says that the Father was well pleased with the Son. We are to be like Jesus in ever way, seek and do all we can to be well pleasing to the Father. Is there anyone here who feels that they have a testimony from God, that they are well pleasing to Him? Thanks, JohnR7

I think I really need to come up a testimony of that. But one thing I am sure is everyday when we go out there, our actions, decisions and behaviour to others will tell how convicted, believed and commited to Jesus we are.
And I do believe we have to fight many temptations to lure us away from what pleases the Father and our faith in salvation through the Christ.

I don't think that any of us humans can live up to God's love for Jesus, except through the blood of Jesus. Now when He looks at us, it is Jesus He sees. So, yes, I think that though we don't deserve it, when He looks at us, He is well pleased.

since "apart from Christ I can do nothing", to give a testimony of how I have pleased the Lord would be too much like tooting my own horn, I think.
