• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

All of the buffalo plus all of the cattle. Not to mention all of the horses.
Only ruminants ferment their food, and (depending on what bacteria they have in their guts) I am not sure if all produce methane.
But any way, cattle outnumbers all mammal wildlife by far.

Those three little squares in the right lower corner are all mammal wildlife.
So including all wild boars, bears, horses, all feline, all wild ruminants, all rodents, all primates etc.

Remember all the buffalo? Covering the plains with poop and farts.
What do you think the peak population of American Bison was? Without looking it up.

Cattle and horses, being domesticated animals, are not relevant to the discussion of the potential climatological contributions of wildlife.

.....Someday we will all die, but it wont be from climate change.....
Many people will die, suffer, and become impoverished by various effects of climate change. Generally, the warming direction is not a good one for the huge majority of humans and the conditions they need to be happy and healthy.

Climate change science has been set up in such a way that every scientist knows they're going to get tarred feathered if they dare to challenge it.
There’s always been crackpots.
Occasionally one turns out to be correct.

Challenging the status quo in anything will get you tarred and feathered. The thing with science is that, if you can show evidence for your claims and devise repeatable experiments to test them, eventually the consensus tends to come around.

This scientist talks about the fake Climate Science which is not real science. It does not follow scientific laws, it fudges data, it covers up or stifled all contradictory evidence and in fact the scientific principles are ignored. He shows how the scientific laws are not used and how when you apply the actual formulas, and laws to the claims of AGW, AGW does not work. He's not just a guy, but a real Atmospheric Scientist and has been one for a long time. AGW is false. That doesn't mean there is no climate change. It just means it is a natural occurrence.

People have died throughout history due to various things. Including changes in climate. We won't all die becauae of climate change. Climate change may cause a bunch of problems, I have never denied that. But it won't destroy this planet.

That's why I have continually said, instead of sending all this money to climate scientists we should be spending it on research regarding how we arw going to adapt and mitigate this natural phenomenon to reduce the affects it will have on us.

Pretty much no one says "we're all going to die" from this. Or "the planet itself will end".

So why even mention it? Whats your purpose in doing that?

People have thrived in hot dry barren climates for thousands of years.

I assumed you watched the video where Salby provided the evidence for his assertions that scientific laws are not followed, data is fudged, contradictory evidence is ignored etc....
Go back to the video and provide us with the timestamps where he backs up these assertions.

If AGW is a natural occurrence explain how troposphere warming is out of phase with lower stratospheric cooling which has been discussed in detail in this thread.
Can Salby explain this, in fact can any credentialed scientist explain this as being a 'natural occurrence'?

Just ask Luke's uncle on Tatooine. Moisture farming has worked out alright for them.
"Tatooine" was actually Tunisia which has a population of over 12 million people.

Yes I watched the entire video. And no I am not going to do all the time stamps. Its probably best if you just watch it yourself.
