Any time a Republican feels happy about extra powers or favours THEIR President gets, they should ask themselves, do I want the SYSTEM to allow it?

In other words, would I be happy for the OTHER guy or gal to have this power?

What if KAMALA had made $2 billion gaming the system? Cheating Americans out of their cash and taking political favours from overseas?

Is TrumpCoin now one of the world's biggest money-laundering schemes for dirty donations for favour?

(Probably not, given the size drug empires have grown to because America's 'war on drugs' has driven down supply, raised prices, and so created immense incentive to criminal warlords running drug enterprises that rival many corporations. But that's not the point. The point is this is POLITICAL money laundering.)

The POINT is, leadership requires a higher ethical standard. A leader who exploits their followers' devotion for financial gain is shameful at best and predatory at worst, violating the very trust they were chosen to protect. Additionally, using a classic deflection technique of "no one is being forced" attempts to shift focus rather than address the actual wrongdoings by this president and his family.

The results of the arrests are yet to be seen. But work on the pool is taxpayer funded as it always has been as far as I know. It was pretty much a bad project from the get go over a hundred years ago.

No I agree. When it comes to Trump coins, phones, watches, merch, a fool and their money are soon parted. However with Trump, he's the same NY con. The office will not change him. What does rub me the wrong way is the branch of government for checks and balances and required processes are just ignored. I have often noted the election of Trump has made clear the vulnerabilities of our Democratic Republic and the Founding Father's error of assuming a president will be of integrity. If, and I mean if the Dems take over the House they should have their calendars full of legislation of making the system another Trump proof.
