CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

But the people were dissolute and suffered from ADHD and so they deviated wildly, arguing such things as - "How many McDonald's Happy Meals could you get on an expired American Express card?" But then another man, though less wise, thought it might be worthwhile sharing something about the character of those long dead forebears, to see if it might restore some semblance of order. Of course, not only was he a litte short on the wisdom front, he was also seriously self-deluded by outrageous optimisim. But here goes, anyway:
No human remains were found at the site, but a likely candidate is Homo heidelbergensis who is either considered the last common ancestor between us, Neanderthals and Denisovans., or not closely related to us at all. (Anti-evolutionists, pile in here for this stunning evidence that evolution is all made up.) There are younger instances of wooden items associated with Homo heidelbergensis elsewhere in Europe. Another possibility is Neanderthals. Any one have any thoughts?
