  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I figured out how magnets works

The question was, what is this invisible force that holds for example magnets together, or how articicial gravity can hold a person down?

I think there`s no magic attraction between two magnets, but there are rings that comes out from the center and penerates your body and objects, it`s these rings that holds you down. And, the closer you are to the center of the magnet, the shorter and thicker the rings are, which makes for a stronger pull. It also draws you in faster the closer you are to the center since the rings are smaller.

If you want to make artificial gravity, for example, you need rotating magnets that sends out gravititonal rings, same as a magnet, but active and rotating; you see the rings on the bottom of the picture penetrates the skeleton and holds it down:

What`s more curious about magnets, is how can it send out rings, waves, constantly, if the magnet never get`s used up? I think it get`s energy from the surroundings, magnets are special because they were created in this way they draw in energy from the surroundings

@Kjelete how many socks is this?

Changing your account doesn't make your claim less nonsense.

No, you've just made a claim, that's all. You've not solved anything. Solving something requires actual work.

Your post reflects a bad understanding of what gravity is and how it works. It has nothing to do with electromagnetism.

But magnets only affect things made of metals like iron and steel. A magnet won't attract a feather, a drop of water, a piece of paper, or a human body. Gravity, on the other hand, affects everything that is physical. Gravity is not magnetism.

Phar have you considered the possibility that you are mistaken?

How likely is it that your rough ideas about how magnets work is more correct than the research carried out on magnets by thousands of trained professionals over scores and even hundreds of years?

It is great fun to speculate, but wouldn't you be better taking the time to find out what those thousands of researchers have found out about magnets?

Yep. There are four fundamental forces:

And the electromagnetic force is 36 orders of magnitude greater than gravity.

Artificial gravity doesn't hold a person down.

In fact, just the opposite.

It uses centrifugal force.

Not quite. Yes, centrifugal force is used, but that force drives people and things to the outer wall of the spaceship, which acts as the "floor." Here are some words from an AI overview:

"Artificial gravity works by mimicking the downward pull of Earth's gravity

through inertial forces, most commonly rotation. By spinning a spacecraft, residents experience a outward centrifugal force against the outer walls, simulating a floor. This force, combined with inward centripetal acceleration, keeps people and objects "down"."

When are you going to get to the bit about how magnets work? I’m a busy young man.
