  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm not actually referring to myself but another member here in CF who practices multiple (opposing) religions.

The Bible prophesied the coming age of knowledge. The prophecy is not fulfilled (yet) if people still believe in lies.
What lies are you referring to though?

Personally, I can't imagine practicing at least two different faiths with opposing teachings. It doesn't make sense.

Sadly, I can't tell you what lies these are. If I can tell you, either they don't matter or they're just conspiracy theories. These things are mostly up to your own effort and divine guidance. Trust nothing, scrutinize everything for your own good.

Well anything that opposes Christianity is false. Unfortunately, there are too many that want to have their cake and eat it too.

There's nothing wrong with watching content that edifies or entertains. But to go beyond that point is unwise and often leads to hardships. Content creators rarely have relationships with their followers that might lead to something meaningful. They'll date one another or someone in a higher income bracket. If they've built a business that allows them to forgo traditional employment in deference to their earnings the likelihood is slim to none.

Everyone making content isn't an influencer and it's important to understand the distinctions in mindset when your income isn't derived from a salary. Their resources aren't fixed like you'd have with a job. Nor is it wholly reliant on sales for influencers. You mentioned YouTube and I'll use that as my example.

They continue to earn money on the videos when they're uploaded no matter the age as long as its monetized. The promotions you see may be one time only or a contract. A video with a promotion has multiple payouts including income from YouTube + the agreed upon fee for the promotion + their commission on sales + additional income they may earn through things they showed or links in the description + private memberships if they use them like Patreon + products sales if they have courses or merchandise.

That's why you rarely hear stories about a woman who met a guy doing such and such online and they got together. They choose people like themselves or IG models and that's the norm. We have to guard our hearts and be wise in our connections. I hope you heal and the Lord brings the one you seek who'll honor you as he should.

~bella
I learned from another influencer that these influencers don't earn what you think they do, Unless they have a management.. These managements support very left wing ideology.

I don't know if they have a management that is doing that.

The creator said he got $748 from 10mill views, and that's the reality unless you sell your soul.. This was someone on Threads.

If that's not true, then I have looked it up and it is true I just don't want to copy and paste now on a phone..

To the creator I have a crush on, I think he was also in a talking stage with a much smaller account, of whom is doing fine with her content because she is more of a musician, than a content creator..

She wrote a whole album of her experience, with one song being about him selling his soul..

It is a very decent album, but we are not friends because we are both interested..

She tweeted out that there were few who were genuine for him, and she was a large contributor in his streams..

Her artwork on her album is that of a girl fleeing to a state that looks like mine, and I am uncertain if he was ever in my state, a fellow streamer he was gaming against thought he was in my state.

This girl will not talk to me further, but she has stated that there are moderators going to her now, and something about them being mad.. She was a big donator in their live.. in his live.

So, I can see in this economy, with the state of things How selling your soul to have everything you need is alluring..

But, even this girl who I think was texting him, And might have gone to her house,

She said there were a few who were genuine for him, and clearly she does not think it is this girl, Who lives in another country..

The streamer in question, The one that he has been hiding from us is in a different country.

I have looked it up, streamers do have to have some type of management to earn the big bucks..

I think she had also liked someone else before him..

This content creator has already posted a reel about another man she thinks is cute unless that was a deterrent reel to lead us off track..

They had both maintained that they were friends.
They went as far as to make it sound like they hated each other, like they hated the idea of being with each other..

Yes, I can see how going from living in LA and having millions of dollars, and taking your

Savings from that and just not having that anymore, or losing support if they don't like the fan, etc..

But, as my fellow crusher wrote in her album, he doesn't have to sell his soul..

There are people who are still trying to figure out if it's PR..
There are people who are leaving him, despite whether or not he maintains popularity and he asked her why they are..

it's because his whole brand is a lie

They are telling each other that you can be a Christian and still practice other religions. Not only that, but that there are churches that are Christian and include other religions, so the idea is 'not that weird'.

Do people really believe like this or are these bots?

I don't want to believe we're this lost.
Tiktok is a cess pool for liberal ideology.. I never would have got on there had I not found a relatable streamer, sometimes his content was relatable.

I learned from another influencer that these influencers don't earn what you think they do, Unless they have a management.. These managements support very left wing ideology.

My comments aren't the result of secondhand information. We swim in the same waters and my associates are very successful and none are influencers but we're privy to the details nonetheless. Most of the people making content online aren't businesses in the traditional sense. They derive the bulk of their income from affiliate payments from Google, brand sponsorships and retailers. They didn't make products or build an email list for direct marketing. They work for YouTube and the brands and both are free to change their terms if they wish, reduce payouts, etc. While they own the content they produce the platform belongs to another. If the host wants to close their account or silence them they can. To say its unwise is an understatement but ease is deceptive.

The creator said he got $748 from 10mill views, and that's the reality unless you sell your soul.. This was someone on Threads.

The amount you earn is based on the niche and the rate advertisers are willing to pay. Some topics are more profitable than others. Like business, finance, education (you're teaching something) and so on. The music industry is a monopoly. It isn't in the industry's benefit to support independent artists because they don't get a cut of the profits. They want them under contract and if you understand how it works you'll know the label owns your name. If you look into Prince's war with Warner Brothers you'll learn more about it. He got out of his contract by changing his name to a symbol.

I have looked it up, streamers do have to have some type of management to earn the big bucks..

Some people work with talent management companies who negotiate deals on their behalf in exchange for a cut of the revenue. We used to see this pre-internet with spokesmodels. As profits have decreased corporations are trying to recoup them through the internet. Content creators are their latest pursuit. If the brand is successful they'll offer to buy it and bleed it dry and repeat the process.

The numbers are seductive for most and we see similar behaviors with startups and venture capital firms. They offer to help and provide resources in exchange for a percentage of ownership. After a few rounds of funding they have the majority share and things begin to change. Profit is their goal.

There's an endless pool of people who want to be famous. They'll never run out of bodies. The bible says there's a way that seems right to a man but its end is the way of death.

But, as my fellow crusher wrote in her album, he doesn't have to sell his soul..

There are people who are still trying to figure out if it's PR..

The music industry is a cesspool. Unlike others where there's greater autonomy the resources are in the enemy's hands. They own the labels, distribution, radio stations, etc. You have to play by the rules or they'll find someone else and you don't control your image. Oftentimes the extravagance they display is merely a prop and they don't own the cars, house or planes that you see them in. They belong to the label. You pay a heavy price for entertainment because of your ability to influence. They're puppets designed to keep the masses asleep. That's what they're paid for.

The situation is unfortunate and you hate to see a soul in bondage. But the Lord must build the house or our labor is in vain. You can't jump into strange waters without the Father in tow. You don't know what you're taking on and no amount of money is worth the price you'll pay. There's enough people in the news from that sector to dispel any naïveté one would have about the industry. The devil doesn't work on grace. Everything he does requires payment and his price is blood. I would never get entangled with that and you may have dodged a bullet.

I deal with men and women who love the Lord whose work is a blessing for His people and the world. They're not forked tongued charlatans selling snake oil on the internet. They have character. There are honest ways to earn a living in this medium that can be lucrative. But it's not about personas or manipulation for the sake of spoils.

In respect to Tik-Tok and the rest... All algorithms are a byproducts of our interests. If you're seeing liberal content it's because you've followed or watched someone who's in that pool and the algorithm shows more of the same. You can reset your feed by deleting the history to get rid of it. But you have to indicate your disinterest and the same applies to ads. There's propoganda everywhere.

What do you mean by "selling your soul". Like signing up a contract with big businesses?

You don't have to go that far to sell your soul. It can be done simply by personal commitment so be careful about choices.

But the literal signing up to sell your soul is a binding agreement to conditions of your afterlife. In my belief it doesn't send you to hell, but you become a slave of the entity (a person, company or otherwise) you signed up for in the afterlife. It's a binding contract in this life and the next.

However, I think they only did that in the entertainment industry like those big name movie production companies.

I don't use Tiktok (except purely for analytics work, I never see the contents themselves). But I use Youtube.

When you create a new account in youtube, you get tons of viral garbage content by default. Each morning for many days, I had to scroll few pages down to right click on videos I don't like and set to "don't recommend channel" or "not interested" or alternating, refresh page and repeat.

On my oldest YT account, garbage contents are now just 5% of the content displayed on the homepage. They never completely go away even if you never click any of them and even still doing "cleanup" of contents every now and then.

I'd prefer it very much if these sites are presented like libraries not like the road down the strip clubs.

Yeah, you can that you can click on not interested.. Even with a large account, or a massive following unless they have scholarships they don't make any money..

The scholarships are usually some social justice warrior program.. Big red flag

If you look into Prince's war

Thank you for the insult, secondhand etc..but that's not what I said..& it is what I said, all at the same time. 10mill views on a short reel only generates $800 or so, Unless the content creator has a management, that has a scholarship or something like that..
Usually the scholarships are some social justice warrior program..

The content I learned this from, is from another legitimate content creator..

10mill streams on a song is $30,000-$50,000 so clearly a discrepancy in how much musicians earn, as opposed to a legitimate content creator..
Musicians keep 70% of their earnings through streams on Spotify.. All I did the find that out was look it up.

10mill views on a content creator without a scholarship is only $800. The management invests in some type of scholarship, and they are usually some social justice warrior type of programs..
In respect to Tik-Tok and the rest...

~bella
I don't have respect for Tik-Tok.. I have respect for some of the creators.

I'm not understanding you,and you are repeating that I have already heard from other artists who are already shady.

Musicians earn way more money off of streams than a small content creator does..

The scholarships that content creators make deals with are with social justice warrior programs, or something like that..

And my response as to why I left is about my crush, So I would appreciate not having my feelings brushed off as insincere, and redirecting this towards the story of what is happening with him..

You weren't being insulted. Music is one of many niches that exists and the majority producing content aren't interested in doing that. I don't know anyone getting scholarships nor is music my focus. My associates and I built businesses and content is one aspect but it isn't the main thing for anyone. We care about sales and repeat customers and multiple income streams.

And 10,000,000 touches with $50,000 in revenue is 0.5%. That isn't a lot at all. The average conversion rate for a low ticket product is 2 to 5% which is 200,000 to 500,000 sales for organic traffic. If you apply the typical $9.97 to that figure you get $1,994,000 to $4,985,000. Email marketing is the highest performer and their conversation rate is 4 to 10.3%.

As I previously noted, most people aren't running businesses in the traditional sense. They're working for platforms and brands. What differentiates the two is the ability to solve problems. Which businesses do through goods and services. I'm not confused about the way this works. I've done it for a while and I'm helping three people launch ventures as we speak. We all have different backgrounds. Not everyone in this medium is starting out. Many are leveraging professional skills for greater spoils.

Either way, I have nothing more to say on the matter.

I'm not surprised this kind of content is on TikTok, considering other kinds of content that are allowed on the platform, like showing people how to steal certain cars.
Didn't know that was on there, but wouldn't be surprised..

Okay, Can you quit talking like a business person and actually address the things I have actually said.. This streamer in particular is who I am talking about.
You accused me of getting "secondhand" information..

I am gathering, from her that she is better off on her own, Without them than he is without her.. and $4mill isn't enough?!! $5 Mill is enough to last 1 person a lifetime..

Prince was a very lucky, rich celebrity.. he had nothing to be crying about!!
And I have always thought he was weird!!

This conversation is barely sentient, as you are not understanding me, either Apparently

Yes, Most content creators who earn the big bucks sign up with some kind of management, who then gives them some kind of scholarship. Usually these are some sort of social justice clause

A musician has the opportunity to make way more money off of streams, and sales of their songs and music.
10mill streams on Spotify for a musician is $30,000 to $50,000. They get to keep 70% of that, Unless the internet is lying when you look it up.

Without a management, A short reel on Facebook that gets 10mill views only receives around $800 - $1000. Someone with 50k views, And a large following is considered a low view count. Often times, they have some type of management that is making them more money than just TikTok themselves are willing to pay...
You don't have to go that far to sell your soul. It can be done simply by personal commitment so be careful about choices.

I'm not a content creator, I just like one. I'm just explaining what a content creator said about how they make their money, verses some of these musicians who are lying about how much they make. A musician has a way better opportunity to earn more money, than a content creator does.
But the literal signing up to sell your soul is a binding agreement to conditions of your afterlife. In my belief it doesn't send you to hell, but you become a slave of the entity (a person, company or otherwise) you signed up for in the afterlife. It's a binding contract in this life and the next.

Yes, Musicians themselves are already of the Devil, in my opinion
Content creators basically have to make a deal with the Devil in order to become rich off of it..
I don't listen to music virtually at all anymore..
However, I think they only did that in the entertainment industry like those big name movie production companies.
In this day and age with the internet, it has allowed so many independent musicians to make a decent living off of their profits. I don't even believe musicians when they say they don't make any money, because you can look it up for yourself which is what I did.

Plus, this girl is basically saying she is financially stable, and she's musician.. She only has maybe 1, thousand followers and that is earning her enough money to do it on her own.

You can look all of this up for anyone who has wifi or data, and then refer back to how many view counts or streams they have. That will basically tell you right there how much money they are making.

I don't know about the scholarships. The extent of my knowledge only goes to Tiktok and Youtube. Some find it easier to make money on tiktok, some youtube. Since tiktok is about view numbers, it would favor shorts.

Since Tiktok had "tiktok store", accounts with large following can apply to promote products sold on the store. Retailers don't have to actively look for influencers, influencers can apply themselves for some commisision % plus free sample(s) of the product.

I see plenty applications even for relatively obscure products. It made me think that influencers probably make more money by promoting products than getting views alone.

I have actually considered becoming an influencer on youtube as skater and fitness/health enthusiast but feel being convicted in my soul I might be encouraging people "worthless distractions". Although skating and fitness add value to me, It may not for another person. For another person, it can be purely vanity, for some, it would just distract them from things that matter much more. People are more likely to make mistakes (sin). Even if it's not my intention nor design, I'd still be contributing to people's ignorance.

I don't know if I believe the band who said they don't make any money
Some of my favorite music on youtube did not even make 1million views.

Our world is just evil. It will say one thing like it embraces diversity (you can be anything you want) but only rewards those who fit a certain "format". And that format is often based on distracting people from the only things that add value to the soul. Things like truth, justice, and there's nothing about justice in what they're doing getting everyone hooked on consumerism / materialism, wasting people's time, and only rewarding those who can fuel this madness.
