This is a guy who controls the largest military force that there's ever been on the planet. This is someone who has an officer who follows him around literally wherever he goes with the nuclear codes. I'm struggling to come to terms with the idea that I should be happy that he's completely inept at everything.

Trump is NOT inept. No one is claiming he is perfect but he's most certainly not inept.

Venezuela, while not geographically in the southern hemisphere, is a part of what’s called the Global South, which is a political definition, not a geographical one. Likewise Australia, while firmly in both the southern and eastern hemispheres, is considered a “Western” country and not a part of the Global South.
Again, these are political designations, not based on actual geographical location.

There's enough there for half a dozen geographically challenged people. And you thought he wouldn't make one mistake on a South American country. I mean, good grief. He doesn't even know where Colorado is! My wife could get lost walking to the corner shop but I just asked her and she knew it was the other side of Arizona from Mexico.
The people who most often attempt to defend the indefensible are, in my opinion, undoubtedly progressive left wing liberals.
