Turned out to be the flu when I went to the doctors' yesterday. Yesterday and this morning were still pretty rough, but ever since I finally managed to get several hours of sleep straight this afternoon, it has been much better, and the prescribed medication finally seems to be doing its intended work. Beef broth I also seem to be finding an unusually pleasant food for this time, right now.

We all know what day it is.... what is everyone doing tonight?

Happy Valentine’s Day to all! I had my 4th year of traditional Vegan Valentines dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. My belly and heart are full!

It used to bother me, but it didn't this year. Other then some heart balloons in the grocery store I saw earlier in the week, I wouldn't have even known.

I went all out for my parents' wedding anniversary, as is our family tradition. I am the cook and my nephews are my serving staff.

Sir, you might seriously make some quick cash hosting a cooking class on CF somehow, for us single guys whose capabilities do not really go beyond following a HelloFresh recipe (... and even then only about 80% accurately). XD

@SarahsKnight is correct. You should consider starting a cooking channel. Use your recent posts on healthy changes as a springboard for content directed at single men. The majority have poor diets and your journey would inspire them.

This is a recent report from The Heritage Foundation. The infamous authors of Project 2025. The piece is lengthy and the numbers is slightly skewed. Data from three racial groups were included for comparison but Asians were placed in the category combining them all when their statistics exceed the rest. Highest rate of marriage, lowest rate of divorce, least amount of unplanned pregnancies and single parents including fathers.

They mentioned several initiatives which may seem promising at first. But remember the bible's warning and consider what they're proposing in light of the climate and whether it will draw the two together or further apart. I think it will make it harder for men in the long run and encourage you to seek the Lord's help as darkness increases. This is the group that writes the President's policies and half of them were completed.

It hasn't reached that point which gives you time to address it in prayer beforehand.
