Dang. Genius Lyrics broke down the lyrics. Not gonna say Bunny is a hard-core perv. Will say his lyrcis are too crude for my anointed ears and just as raunchy, juvenile and crass as the other rappers and rockers out there. Glad it was in Spanish because this was not "ready for prime time" in English.
And his conquests, etc. if anyone watched it, both him and female dancers were grabbing their crotches while dancing during the pertinent lyrics.
But that seems to be a standard "move" among all male rappers and the dancers on stage being half naked. I think that started with Michael Jackson and the rest of them adopted it, and now no one can sing without clutching their genitals. Tiresome.
True but this performance was pretty choreographed to go with when he was being explicit in the lyrics. I read lyrics all the time. The sudden outrage with Kid Rock’s lyrics he wrote in the past to go with his brand is nothing new. It’s more than hypocritical. Look at the mysogyny and abuse written in rap songs as far back as the 90s. It’s all about brand. Some have done and experienced those things and use it as their brand. Some write what they think sells. But it seems more than a bit hypocritical to suddenly be concerned only because their politics disagree. People need to view things fairly and not through some tribal political lense. I don’t like crude songs about people bragging about abusive and vulgar situations. Don’t care who they are. But if someone repents and is trying to follow the Lord and become a new creation in Christ, I can’t judge their sincerity. Even if they are not my cup of tea.
