CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The fact remains that the distances between star systems is so vast that minor minuscule variations are about all we can accurately detect. Size, distance, composition, and all the rest of the science fiction passing off as "science" these days are simply the imaginations of people with nothing better to do.
A star the size of the sun or larger is so far away that the planets orbiting it would be impossible to detect directly because the distance between them and their host star would appear less than the distance between the skin of an apple and the apple itself at a thousand yards distance.

But, with even a glimmer of willingness to learn on your part, I'll put in the effort to help you educate yourself. You shouldn't be ashamed of dispelling your unnecessary ignorance on this topic. Carl Sagan focused on a few main ways to detect life on other planets. He emphasized remote sensing of a planet’s atmosphere, looking for chemical imbalances like oxygen and methane that only life can maintain. He also used surface signatures, such as vegetation patterns, and he supported SETI, which searches for artificial radio signals from intelligent life. These were the core scientific methods he believed could reveal life beyond Earth.

To be honest, the topic has gotten so ridiculous I no longer care to engage in the rabbit trail subterfuge arguments.
The only point was that the spiral design and effect of galaxies means that the stars etc are spiraling down to the center of the galaxy or spiraling outward from the center and not hop scotching around from spiral arm to spiral arm as old age macro-evolutionists purport.

Stars to don't travel down the spirals. We told you that from the start and you have rejected any attempt to explain how we know that.

You haven't made the observation of the thing you think is happening, and no one has. Your presuppositions about the trajectories of stars in spiral galaxies are not reflected in actual observations of spiral galaxies.

And humanity has not lived long enough to make the observations you claim. No to mention the attempt to observe from our viewpoint in the thick of the galaxy itself.
