Every day that I awaken and find out that Donald J Trump hasn’t launched a nuclear attack (somewhere), it’s generally been a “good day”.

But should that one day happen, that’s okay because he’ll have a very good reason and it’ll be the best reason and about 30% will agree with him wholeheartedly.

Trump hasn't exactly hid the fact he doles out crude racist tropes like candy. We are far beyond the old "high brow" Republican rhetoric of "moral hazard" over "welfare queens" even, and some feel emboldened to just make old-fashioned and crude racism "great again".

I think since this administration cannot hold itself accountable on the big things, doing so on the little things is too much of an ask.

Republicans can kiss the mid-terms goodbye and they only have Trump to blame. He'll claim fraud but we all know that independents and moderate Republicans and all but his base are going to probably stay home. There have been a few good policies but there is no getting around this. I won't apologize for supporting Nicki Haley in the 2024 elections and writing in in November 2024.

Many here may be too young to remember but depicting black people as apes and monkeys and subhuman was a thing back in the 1800's and before the civil rights movement and there was a Supreme Court case declaring that Negroes were only 3/5 human and there fore subjected to being owned by the White man. (Dred Scott). so regardless of the intentions of the person that put up this video it is a big no-no considering our history and should have been known. Trump should apologize and the staffer should be fired, if it was a staffer.
