CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Too bad about the snow, but I'm glad you had a nice Christmas! 
I had a very rainy Christmas here, and a lot of Californians are experiencing flooding problems (though, where I live, it seems to not be so bad). Please keep them in your prayers.

A helpful tip I learned from a book I have on sewing plushies: if fur gets stuck in the seams while sewing, you can use a needle to pull it out. I've noticed that most of the plushies I have that I didn't make, even the high-quality brands, have fur stuck in the seams all over. That doesn't look very professional, but you can use the same trick on them!
When I made my plush crow, I actually used the same type of fabric for the entire plush (in two different colors) and trimmed the beak and feet so they wouldn't be fluffy. That's something I don't plan on doing again, as it took forever!

It's the last day of 2025. What a weird year this has been. 2 1/2 months were unusually good, 7 months were unusually bad, and the last two months were basically okay. Only the first two weeks were like a typical year.
Here are the things I accomplished this year:
-Made a few traditional drawings
-Made two digital drawings
-Started writing Mystery of the Mirror Rift and got 13 1/2 chapters done
-Made my first Sonic CD-style remixes in two years
-Made 11 plushies: my Hero Chaos Chao Chaorro, a dog that didn't turn out right, a teddy bear, three dinosaurs, two mice, a dove, and two pumpkins
-Made a few needlepoints
-Made a lot of 3D models and finished modeling all the Charaboms out of cubes
-Started making Kirby and the Rod of Darkness Animated, my first animated series, and got 1 1/2 episodes done
-Played through Kirby: Planet Robobot for the first time
-Learned how to overcome anxiety
-Created my own Discord server and joined two others
-Started using my mic during streams

I've been hesitating, though, because I thought it was an online community for gamers, and I want to meet Christian people who are traditional artists like me and have more classical hobbies like literature, etc. What do you think?

Have you heard of any servers like the one you're looking for? I know there are servers for Christians out there, but I'm not sure about traditional art and literature. Of course, I haven't done much searching for servers but would love to find some more clean Christian ones to join. Perhaps you could even make your own server about your Etsy shops, your book series, or your artwork in general?Sounds like a productive year to me!

I've heard there is a Catholic server called 'The Catholic Diocese of Discord', but I don't know much else about it...I think setting up a Discord account would be a wonderful idea!
