Rapper and country artist Jelly Roll testified to God’s work in his life throughout his recent conversation on Joe Rogan’s podcast, which was released Wednesday, Dec. 10. At the end of the podcast, an emotional Jelly Roll learned that a dream of his has been fulfilled: He was invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

“I just never thought this was the journey, dude. I thought I’d die young or I thought I’d kill myself. I didn’t think I was going to be able to figure it out,” said Jelly Roll.
“You figured it out, and you’re figuring it out more every day,” Rogan told him.
