  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Why exactly hide the existence of a Flat Earth in the first place? Like... who does it benefit, and how and why?
It's because THEY want to deceive us. That's why they want to make us believe that New Zealand exists, as well.

. I think that secret societies really hate Bible, so they try to make it look fake / diss-miss some parts of it ?
The Bible doesn't say the earth is flat.
But my theory is that you-know-who is real, like real-living-"human" , and he tries to make teachings of God look fake.
Flat Earth isn't taught in the Bible. It's just weird.

I don't buy that. That is argument for 3rd grade of elementary school. ^^

Average Joe can't go to Antarctica cause truth would be revealed. :D
If he can afford the ticket, the "average Joe" can indeed book a flight over Antarctica:

"30 Years of Antarctica Flights
We have been exploring Antarctica by air since 1994 - that's over 150 flights and 30 years pioneering a land that remains almost entirely undiscovered. Aboard a cruise ship you would only touch the edge of the coast. Aboard our privately chartered plane you will soar over a continent that escapes the boundaries of perception."

That is from the Qantas website: Antarctica Flights from Australia - Antarctica Flights

Game over for flat Earth? Really? I don't think so.
Yes. It's amazing that even highly intelligent people can be reluctant to ditch nutty but strongly held views. Just look at the number of people clinging to the fable of evolution.

Again , fair point , you raise a valid point in your post. Hmmmm .... I don't have a proper 100% correct answer on that one. But I believe in this whole ... spiritual warfare stuff , so I think you-know-who uses some tactics to like , keep us distracted from keeping our eyes on God .... So I think it is all about spiritual warfare and who wins most souls in the end .... So it's like dirty tactics in football.
Thankfully, our salvation doesn't depend at all on what we believe about the shape of the earth. "What must I do to be saved?" asked the jailer at Philippi. The apostles replied, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." They didn't say, "Make sure you believe the right thing about the earth's shape." What one believes about the shape of the earth makes absolutely no difference to one's spiritual state.

Sorry, but I don't understand what your post has to do with mine to which you were replying. I had posted details from QANTAS about their flights over Antarctica which are available to the public. You answer by telling me it's time to do some research, and wondering what "they" (whoever "they" are) are hiding at the North Pole. So My post was about the South polar region, Antarctica, and you answer with a post about the North Pole. Maybe the connection is obvious, and I have missed it, in which case I apologise.

When I was in primary school I remember being given a school book about evolution, diagrams of a fish like creature crawling onto land an artist's impression of ape men sitting round a camp fire having a jolly, based on a single tooth. The people who produce such drivel for children were evidently ideologically driven blinkered zealots, but I have even encountered people in the church who would irrationally defend this stuff. God Bless You have a good day :)

Nothings being hid, because people have repeatedly gone to the North Pole.

You can even go yourself.

And I still do not get your line of argument. Posting screenshots of Google searches is... nothing except posting screenshots of Google searches.
When one has no training in, or seemingly no awareness of, the skill of critical thinking and the application of logic, it very easy to confuse assertions with evidence and beliefs with proof. If one is raised in such an enviroment I imagine it is very difficult to break free from the clutches of mindless nonsense.

When I was in primary school I remember being given a school book about evolution, diagrams of a fish like creature crawling onto land an artist's impression of ape men sitting round a camp fire having a jolly, based on a single tooth. If your exposure to evolutionary theory is based on a book for primary school children it is hardly surprising you have such a distorted understanding. Perhaps if you were to dip into a handful of the thousands of textbooks on evolution, or the millions of research papers, then the scales on your eyes would fall away and you could view the magnificence of the bioshphere and celebrate the means by which your God created the diversity of life on the planet.

Well according to Admiral R. Byrd they are hiding loads, could it be paradise or this black magnetic rock ( Rupes Nigra ) ? After all, all compasses point to the north.

Compass = Come pass

You still referring to the fictional lost diary of Admiral Byrd?

Yes - what makes you think it is fictional ?
Well there is this:
Primary sources contain no such statements. Byrd’s expedition logs, radio transmissions, and official reports from his 1926 flight over the Arctic and his later Antarctic expeditions contain no references to hollow Earth entrances, polar openings, hidden civilizations, or unexpected warm areas.

The infamous “secret diary” is not authentic. A text often cited as Byrd’s suppressed personal account, describing flying into an inner world or meeting non-human beings, surfaced decades after his death and is demonstrably not in Byrd’s hand, tone, or known writing style. There is no archival trail for its origin.

Misinterpretation of a 1947 remark. Byrd made public comments in the late 1940s about the strategic significance of the polar regions, describing them as potential avenues for military attack or rapid travel. A key phrase—often quoted as him saying there was “a land beyond the Pole”—referred to the geographical and geopolitical importance of the Arctic basin, not a literal landmass.

Operational records show the expected Arctic environment. Meteorological notes, flight logs, and scientific observations from Byrd and his contemporaries match what is now well-established about the polar climate and geography. No anomalous warm regions, hidden valleys, or unexplored continents appear in the data.

No corroboration from other explorers. Amundsen, Nobile, Ellsworth, MacMillan, and later Arctic researchers crossed the same regions by air and ice, producing detailed maps and measurements that leave no room for the extraordinary features attributed to Byrd’s accounts.

Fringe interpretations arise from later authors. Most extraordinary claims first appear in 1950s–1980s hollow-Earth or esoteric literature that used Byrd as an authority figure but provided no primary documentation.

Summary by ChatGpt. I shall expand on any of these to which you offer an evidenced refutation.

I believe their extraordinary story.
Richard Byrd was an American polar explorer known for his arctic and Antarctic expeditions, which gained him fame and recognition. His most notable Arctic event was a 1926 flight over the North Pole with pilot Floyd Bennett

Apart from what @Ophiolite has already posted, there is the minor detail of the hollow earth 'ambassador' bringing up the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which happened in 1945, more than a decade after Admiral Byrd's fictional encounter with the hollow earthers. It demonstrates that the fictional diary wasn't written until after World War I.
