  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Comedian Bill Maher denounced the Left's embrace of gender ideology earlier this week and claimed many on his side of the political spectrum are not scientifically sound.

During a discussion with fellow comedian Patton Oswalt on Maher's "Club Random" podcast, which aired Monday, the two discussed the post-election soul-searching among Democrats, with Oswalt pushing back against the notion that Democrats have veered too far to the political fringe.

Oswalt suggested that the widespread notion that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is "too far left" shows the country is "broken," adding that the U.S. is still reeling from having "freaked out" over the election of former President Barack Obama.

Reddit is a cesspool,
The other day it was a post asking, gay people just want to live their lives, why the hate?
I mean i don't hate people, but when those are brainwashing kids, and then after society tells a boy he can be a girl, they cut him in surgeries.
It has to be the worst atrocities in 'civilized' society, apart from war etc. It really they just want 'to live their lives'. There was other poster saying that from conservatives and religious people nothing good can come.
I have a hobby that is videogames, and also i liked movies, they are the 5 percent of people, but have to be everywhere, videogames now need to be super gay for this companies.
I repeat i don't hate people, if i would hate people i would need to repent, i keep in check to forgive to whoever wrong me etc, but also they hate us for having morals, and wish your death for stating them.
So i disagree.

It's more sociological than anything. How people expresses themselves change with the times. Nothing new here, and that certainly relates to gender and gender expression.
