I love to write, but I'm not a fantasy writer.
I enjoy writing detail-oriented, fact-based content as a creative outlet.
- Instructional documents and videos
- Technical documents and videos
- Calculator spreadsheets
- Websites and wikis
- Programming and scripting languages, especially working with data and databases
- Biblical forum posts
- Biblical study notes
The instructional/technical/programming side of things started in my teens with my intense interest in computers in the mid-80's. I started to learn to program, and then started my own BBS (Bulletin Board System). I heavily modified the source code and released mods, which led to technical document writing for the functionality. My interest in all things computers and tech has necessitated writing throughout my life, whether it be programming or documentation, or both. I grew to love it, because I found it engaging and interesting. I got hired into a telecommunications company where my (later) technical job which also required technical document writing. I spent fourteen years in Second Life as a content creator, making and selling scripted products, and writing documentation for them, some of which was extensive. I started making instructional YouTube videos to teach various subjects. This led to teaching and mentoring others in one-on-one sessions. No matter what I'm doing on computers, it always leads to writing technical documents of some sort, or programming, or both, and most likely videos.
Two years after I came back to Christianity (in 2016) I decided to start participating in Reddit Christian forums. If you've never been there, it is like jumping into the lion's den. I spent time answering questions with scripture, and soon found a love for writing on Biblical topics. Another two years later I joined Christian Forums, and I've been posting here ever since.
I write on a daily basis, on all fronts, but unfortunately I don't have any fantasy works to share.
