And I read Gal 6:15 and what does. , BUT A NEW CREATION. , what does that mean ??
dan p
This is talking about becoming a new creation, a Son of God.
I see keras [tried to explain] this subject but not very good.
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
-The word used here for "Being born again" is: G313
anagennao¯
an-ag-en-nah'-o
From G303 and G1080; to beget or (by extension) bear (again):
- beget, (bear) X again. Total KJV occurrences: 2
It means begettal, not birth, ask any mother there is a big difference.
It is a process that is patterned like after human reproduction.
People say they are born again but that is not quite accurate.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy [hath begotten us] again
unto a lively hope [by the resurrection] of Jesus Christ from the dead,
#1 The Father
From impregnation—begettal on the part of the father.
A father sires/begets a child, God begets/gives you His Holy Spirit.
[begotten] when God’s divine Holy spirit-life is imparted to us,
we become heirs to his kingdom, now called a Son of God.
It is the unborn child of its father. You are now [
a new creation].
The gift of the Holy Spirit, which is the earnest of our inheritance, until
the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
#2 The Mother
And having conceived on the part of the mother, the church.
The Church is called “Jerusalem above,” or “the heavenly Jerusalem”
Heb. 12:22-23, Galatians 4:26: “But Jerusalem which is above is free,
which is [the mother of us all].”
after one's repentance, faith and baptism, and receives the Holy Spirit,
the Spirit of God puts him into/ baptizes him into God’s Church.
“for b
y one Spirit are we all baptized into one body …”
#3 The gestation period, our growth in God in this mortal life
There is a time element between begettal and birth, called gestation.
We develop and grow spiritually in our pre-birth state.
The human mother of the fetus serves the function of feeding her
unborn child with physical food so that it may develop and grow.
The spiritual mother the Church is commissioned to “feed the flock”
(iPet. 5:2) through the ministry which God has set in the Church.
“[f]or the perfecting of the saints … for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son
of God, unto a perfect man …” (Eph. 4:11-13).
The church also helps keep the child safe.
“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried
about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”
#4
The birth into the Kingdom/family of God.
"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;..."
At the time of the resurrection, we in the Church the spiritual mother shall be
delivered from her, and born into and inherit the Kingdom of God, as a spirit being.
Most of my posts are unpopular, this subject would be no exception.
Telling fellow Christion's they are not yet "born again" is very unpopular.
