CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Is that why he's been harrassing professors for having opinions Kirk didn't like from the beginning of his career? It was because he was for "free speach"?

He did not harass professors. But, he did debate them. There is a clear difference.

The major project of TP USA from the start was an index of ideologically unacceptable professors, called "professor watchlist". That site is clearly intended to fuel harassment of faculty they don't like and get them removed. His whole career was about whinging that colleges didn't meet his ideological preferences.

It is not harassment to call out professors teaching leftists and Marxist ideologies. Charlie Kirk's whole career was about going out to the campuses to have free speech debates with whoever desired to show up to ask him questions.

Kirk didn't debate these professors. He put them on an index and detailed their "ideological crimes".
Name two professors on his list that Kirk debated. I doubt a lightweight like Kirk would dare.

I know of a few with streaming shows. Call them up if you want a debate on religion/god. I don't. Kirk and TP USA put of a website to harass intellectuals.

He debated their ideas. None of the professors would dare to debate Charlie Kirk because they knew that he would defeat their left wing ideas with common sense and constitutional conservatism.

“Professional debater” is a time-honored vocation, ‘tis true, but there’s no “up-side” to a already busy professor debating this very intelligent high-school graduate.
Charlie wasn‘t from academia, he didn‘t have cred with those people.
They weren’t ”frightened” by his opinions and his remarkable charisma; he wasn’t on their radars.

Yeah. I'm sure Christ himself would be impressed with Charlie Kirk caring more for gun rights than for children being slaughtered in American schools. Charlie Kirk truly represents American Christianity.
